He's decided to really test the abilities of his coaching rehabilitation services.Saban has earned more trust than probably any coach, at any level in history, but yeah that just seems strange.
Would Florida make a run at Brian Kelly?
Why would Kelly leave ND for Florida?
Legit top three job in the country.
I approve of that message 100%, Campbell would do very well in Michigan! If Michigan was smart they would let him move on and throw the bank account at Campbell. That is a perfect match.
I'm not sure if you're serious but if you are why do you say that?
Is Adam Gase's time on Peyton Manning's coattails finally over? My god, he is the Jeff Fisher 2.0 of terrible coaches that keep getting endless opportunities!
Name the jobs which are better.
We have this discussion a lot around here. I agree that UF is a top job. They have an administration that is committed to winning, they are in a recruiting paradise, they have fantastic fan support, it’s a very good school, they make a metric ton of money and can afford just about anybody they want. Academic restrictions are minimal, and they don’t have to deal with a lot of booster interference (aka Texas). The weather is nicer than in the Midwest, too. Lots of advantages. What are the primary factors that make a CFB job great?
Zero chance ND and Michigan are too 5 jobs.I would say Florida is a top 10 job, maybe top 5, but top 3? I don't see it.
I would say, in order, the top jobs are:
1. Bama
2. tOSU
3. Michigan
4. ND
5. USC
after the top 5 it gets a little harder to rank, but in no particular order, I would suggest: Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Penn State, LSU, to round out a top 10.
What makes a great job?
$$$$
Tradition (i.e. getting the benefit of a doubt in bowl, CFP consideration because of your blueblood status)
Major Conference
Recruiting success through name recognition
Maniacal alumni support
Agree with pretty much every job on there except NOTRE DAME. I think that is a terrible job in terms of really being able to win or live up to expectations. Florida has all the talent they need within 2 hours of campus, and Spurrier was killing it and so was Urban. What is their problem with not getting it going again!I can name at least a dozen which are at least on par as far as top programs and support from both the boosters and administration. You can argue where these programs below rank but as @TSchekler said what makes a CFB job great and what do you think it is that separates Florida from these jobs and makes them a top 3 job?
in no particular order:
Alabama
tOSU
USC
OU
Texas
Clemson
FSU
Georgia
Penn State
LSU
Michigan
Texas A&M
ND
Auburn
That's a solid list. Not sure I'd have FSU or Auburn on there, but to your point, I'm not sure how Florida separates itself from that list to be top 3.I can name at least a dozen which are at least on par as far as top programs and support from both the boosters and administration. You can argue where these programs below rank but as @TSchekler said what makes a CFB job great and what do you think it is that separates Florida from these jobs and makes them a top 3 job?
in no particular order:

What's criteria you're using?Bama
USC
Florida
LSU
Clear top four IMO.
