Came here to post this after a long work day. Boss’ boss and other big donors put together major cash flow to pay Harbaugh so he would stay.
So it was a leverage play and about the pay cut. Gotcha.
Have also seen some speculation he was looking for more autonomy than NFL teams were willing to give him.
