This Can Happen

They don’t cater every meal. No way.
I didn't know that.

I was just thinking that the total costs would probably favor outsourcing (e.g. catering) vs standing up a specific food service for FB players.

I think the main point is: "look at everything we do, see where we can improve, and some things are easy upgrades which will help us get where we want to be."
I also think that pointing out other areas where we are falling behind our peers is not a fools errand. Just because the transfer issue might be the most important issue at the moment doesn’t mean it’s the only thing we should be looking to improve. There are lots of ways to improve. Look at all of them.

Right. You don't become the worst FBS program by only having dumb transfer requirements. There is so much wrong with the program they need the light shined on everything

Some people don't have enough complaints that are already there. It's in their blood :sneaky:
If you can't provide the proper nutritional basics to football players then the AD is just showing at a basic level they have no idea what is needed to support a football program.

That's my thinking. We always joke "but the Flatirons". However, like with any good joke there is some truth behind it. CU, its campus, its surrounding community and nature are all special. If we can get it to where we can bring up the CU standard on everything in the AD to a P5 level of "that's nice & CU does a solid job with it" then the negatives are removed and the "but the Flatirons" stuff matters to tip the scales in our favor.

Hold on a sec. When CU built the Champions Center we were well ahead of many of our peers. What came out of it? Not a whole lot. If I was controlling the purse strings I'd be pointing to that example over and over then say, suppose we give you the money for whatever the ask is, now what's the plan on how you are going to manage it. New size 4 Nike's isn't the correct answer.
