Travis Hunter Appreciation Thread (Awards: HE12MAN, Walter Camp, Biletnikoff, Bednarik, Lott, Paul Hornung, AP PotY)

Really nice article in the WSJ today on Jeanty 😵‍💫. Hope to see a similar article on Travis tomorrow or next week.

Just imagine the parallel universe where it goes #1 Hunter, #2 Sanders #3 Jeanty. The salt would last me weeks
Shedeur is the #1 QB and because of the value of the position I think he goes first, probably with somebody making a massive trade to get there.

Then Travis, then another QB.

Jeanty is clearly the best back but RBs don't put you in the Super Bowl, he goes after 8-12.

I saw the other day that Travis, Jeanty, Ward and Shedeur were the only four Heisman candidates you could bet on Draft Kings. No idea why that is the case, but it makes me wonder if Shedeur has a chance to get invited as a finalist
FWIW Wiltfong said mater of factly that Shedeur will be a Heisman Finalist when he was breaking down JuJu's commitment on the On3 show yesterday. It threw me off how certain he sounded.

Edit: Starts around 1:13:00

He's talking about the Heisman voting

1/2 Hunter/Sanders is actually not that far fetched for the draft
I don't pay that much attention to the draft outside of the donkeys, but will Jeanty be a Rd 1 pick? I know that RB's don't get drafted highly.

Jeanty to Dallas in the first round is a popular projection. The Cowboys do have terrible RBs. Bijan Robinson went 8th two years ago and Jamhyr Gibbs went 12th, no RBs in the first round last year or in 2022.

Anyone else catch Prime's hint that Hunter might use the threat of coming back to school to make sure whoever drafts him lets him play "the way he can the most use of his talents"?
