You don’t like the monster with a huge wing span pash rushing..?

Nope. If he can do more of what Cody describes, then I’ll like it better.

In general, I’m not a big fan. He improved and played better toward the end of the year. He eats space well. He collapses the pocket occasionally. But he’s too tall to be the prototypical NT in the 3-4 and I do t think he will play in the 4 front when they use the money alignment. His height creates issues around leverage, explosion and quickness. I think Berry will be a good rotation next year with Sami. JMO

Van Diest over Jones after Jones straight up took the job?:ROFLMAO:

Maddox is going to have a hard time being starting safety.:ROFLMAO:

And Miller/Trujillo being third stringers with Blackmon not even being listed at CB. :ROFLMAO:

Clayton needs a RS year? He’d be the best RB on the field. Lewis RS? Not likely. There’s a reason he stayed firm on his commitment.

Miller has had trouble staying healthy. I don't know his injury status that is why he is 3rd string.

Take it easy everyone. He's never actually seen a football game let alone a CU game.

I agree that Pursell has shown to be a much more reliable guard than center. But unless Carson Lee is actually physically ready to go come August, who would make more sense in that spot? Jynes? I don't think so.

The title of the thread is way too early depth chart.

I don't get why people are so against red Shirting Clayton and Lewis. They may need time to adjust to campus and learn the playbook. We shouldn't put too much pressure on them. If they are ready they should play early. But we should temper down the expectations. It is not easy going from High school to College football. Fontenot and Mangham are good backs. Redshirting Clayton might not be a bad idea. Will see what we got from Lytle and Stenstrom in the spring.

He’s not coming here to RS.

Two staffs have now seen these QBs. The verdict is the same.

Clayton is better than Mangham, maybe a Fontenot.

CFB is a “play early” game.

It is not easy making the jump from high school to college football. We should temper the expectations. Some guys might not be ready.

He stayed firm because he was going to be given an opportunity to win the gig next year. If he's as good as we think he is, he probably does. Still needs to earn it in Spring ball and fall camp.

Lang will start along with Mustafa. Alfano will play a lot but not as the starter.

I think Pursell is a better center than people give him credit for but good chance Lee starts and Pursell starts at guard. Don't see them starting Kutsch again.

Trujillo played well this year when he wasn't supposed to. Going to be hard to keep him off the field next year.

I think people underestimate just how good Alfano is as a 5* DL who was on track to start for Alabama as a true freshman.

I understand. CU fans have become unfamiliar with that sort of talent level. It's night and day from the talent level of a good P5 starter.

I think we could see alfano moved all around from NT to edge rushing as a DE and standing OLB.

The docuseries the local news did on him showed he’s really into technique and working out. Alfano could be the spark that changes this team on and off the field in a way that catapults this program.

I went through the entire roster and incoming class and while I am not going to go through and name starters, a few things did jump out at me:

OL- Holy hell when did CU get all this depth, by the middle of next year this unit will be far better than last year.
WR - Opposing cornerbacks, good luck
TE - Shh, don't tell anyone but they're now a decent college unit.
QB - OK so I will name a starter, his name is Stenstrom, Don't worry, you'll all agree after spring practices and you'll be excited.
RB - Borat tells me, "Is a very nice!! Deep too, like sister's ....."

DLine-OMG this d-line is going to cause some problems for people and just like the oline there is depth, rotations will play to 4 deep. Tucker has fixed this FAST
OLB - Houston, we have a problem. Better hope 2 of the 3 incoming OLB's are the truth and that there are no injuries
MLB - Starters are excellent against the run, depth backers better against the pass, expect rotations and a lot of hoping that dline wrecks havoc.
DB (CB,Safety and Star) - Uhm, d line do you mind getting to the QB a little bit faster please?

Players who will surprise this year
Offensive lineman Senn (FHCMM's last accidental gift to the Buffs), Magri from Monarch is going to get some PT on a deep d-line and we will all think of Sauvao as a stud by the end of next year.

Players who you forgot exist that will play: Sparaco (yes, he is still there and since HCMT likes to rotate Dline, you will see him).

What has Arias done to deserve such love?

Pell moved to ILB, no?

When is a 5-7 team in the business of RS 4-Star players?

I bet there are at least 5 players on your DC that won’t be here after spring.

That’s a 4-5 win team.

Just my $0.02.
