No. Watch some film on Juju. Attend a practice. Read some articles. This isn’t rocket fvcking science. The kid has great mechanics. He’s smart. He’s a winner. He makes plays. He can command a huddle. He can make throws no one else on this team can. He’s gifted at understanding schemes and concepts. He can recognize coverages. He’s deft at getting through his progressions. And right now, at least half this team wants him to start on Saturday.

He completed a nice pass, had another one dropped that could have gone for a TD and took a sack.
If Juju gets the start, you are going to see growing pains. It isn't like he is going to come in and dominate right off the bat. The season is lost with Salter at the helm, you might as well get Juju some live reps for next year.
Exactly. Get him in the game for Iowa State. Playing the entire game even if he throws 3 picks and takes 10 sacks. We need to speed up the learning process here.

It is. I said this a couple days ago. Juju will be QB1 for multiple games this year (unless Salter flips a switch and goes on some kind of run), but it’s not this weekend
So, in 10 total plays this year, 5 of which he simply handed the ball off, while playing with the 2s and 3s at most of the skill positions, getting the most vanilla play calls, you made that observation? Interesting.
I'm not surprised. With the all the distractions in Dal Ward right now, of course this team is going to try stay the course.
FWIW, Shedeur didn’t start his freshman year at JSU. It was covid and they played in the spring instead of Fall and he may have been ineligible though.
Point is, we have no idea how he would have handled his own son coming into the Big 12 instead of the SWAC. There are some true freshman QBs starting at schools. There are more who are/have been sitting.
Yeah that's just not a true statement, small sample size but he had a 68.7 passing grade in that small sample size.

Salter stinks. I would rather JuJu as a true freshmen toss 3 horrible INT a game, miss wide open receivers, and make other bonehead plays. At least then I can say he is a true frosh and there will be a learning curve.

Obviously I can’t “guarantee” he would have. That’s me being hyperbolic. But from my perception of CP, he would have started Shedeur in the same position. At least at this point.
