Dana Holgorsen - HC West Virginia

Goddammit.

Did you just give me a link to an Allbuffs page?

To be clear, I said "very little", which is technically not zero, lol.
Yes, I did link to an allbuffs page.

It's the page I go to when I check future schedules - faster to click there then figure out where it's buried on CU's or ESPN's website.

It's actually probably the most useful of all the pinned threads.

Only because we never pinned a thread on favorite free porn sites.

please tell me that you are an auburn-haired female super model with a weakness for reprobate degenerate CU football diehards with a thing for hookers and blow. then, i will be happy to show you.
Adventure-seeking mom of one of the other AB members would also be a plus to get Liver's red carpet treatment. (y)

Probably one of the top 5 offensive minds in college football right now and has been for over a decade, so not just a "flavor of the month" with that. We're talking about the guy who figured out how to take Leach's Air Raid and turn it into physical football that can also dominate a team with the ground game.

Deep ties for recruiting TX & OK. If you're RG and he's interested, you have to have a serious conversation.

He would obviously be the guy to get if possible. I am very skeptical that there is even a chance.

The one thing you guys who keep talking about Gundy are forgetting is that Gundy is coaching at his alma mater. I don't think the parallels between Gundy and Holgorsen are as exact as some of you are making them out to be.

Having said that, the one question I have about Holgorsen and recruiting is, while Morgantown is a long way from TX, they're guaranteed to play at least 2 games there a year. Boulder is a lot closer, but there's very little chance for a TX recruit to play games in front of the family.
But we play in Los Angeles every year. So let's figure that one out.

He does have some decent recruits he could maybe bring with? couple kids from out west. A WR and a couple safeties that would look good on our roster, just have to convince them to move across the country.

I will say this - seems to me a lot of kids would be wanting to play in the Pac12. Games in California, Big tradition schools on schedule, Win the conference and you will have a chance for bigger things.

Let’s start with West Virginia’s Dana Holgorsen. An Iowa native, he’s one of the brightest minds in football and would be an interesting fit in Boulder. Personality-wise, he and MacIntyre are pretty different. The 47-year-old Holgorsen has done a very nice job making the Mountaineers program nationally relevant in a much tougher league than it’s been in before. In the Big 12, WVU has a lot of challenges, recruiting-wise, that most of the other top teams in the conference with their close connections to Texas do not have. His teams are 18-8 in Big 12 play the past three years. I think if CU came after him, Holgorsen might have a lot to think about.

This combined with the possibility that we could pick up some TT coaches makes it even more worthy.

FWIW WVU are still in contention for the Big 12 championship game on Dec 1. Win vs OU and they are in.

Something to watch.

So... Are we cheering for the land thieves?

well, that's the beauty of the tortured fan:

if wvu wins, and advances, then everyone will whine about the delay and the cost of getting him away from wvu.

if wvu loses, then everyone will whine that it shows he isn't the elite winner we deserve!

i think we can get him if we want him. but, i know nothing.
