That’s the awesome thing about fandom: you can just start rooting for someone else (unless you suffer from Battered Buff Syndrome).Me...I'm entering the transfer portal... **** this ****
I would imagine the vast majority of people who frequent this site are too emotionally invested in this program to just start rooting for someone else. I have become a Wisconsin fan over the last 8+ years of dating/being married to my wife, which has been pretty good for the most part, but they will never become Program1 for me. Such is life when some of your first *life* memories are watching the Buffs run out behind Ralphie at Folsom. That’s the awesome thing about fandom: you can just start rooting for someone else (unless you suffer from Battered Buff Syndrome).
Lack of a true recruiting footprint. We spent years trying to recruit California and got bodied. Have we just given up on that? Here's a fun fact. We have been in the Pac since 2011. We have signed 2 top 50 recruits from California (Beau Bisharat, Shane Dillon) in that timespan. Seems like we've pivoted back to recruiting Texas. We actually do better there than in California, but we're not really winning battles against any of the in-state P5 schools.
Yeah, I am in the same boat about being a lifelong Buffs fan. I just can’t quit them, which is why I feel severe rage about how they’ve effed this program.I would imagine the vast majority of people who frequent this site are too emotionally invested in this program to just start rooting for someone else. Good advice there. I've done a similar thing with politics by only paying casual attention and it made me a lot less pissed off. I need to do the same thing with CU football.I was like you when Barney and the administration tore down CU football and left it a nuclear fallout. I was finally able to move CU football away from the center of my Self map. I haven’t been mad about a play during games for a few years now. I actually made a choice to stop getting angry, it wasn’t fair to people in my life.
Agree % I soothe my sadness by fading the Buffs and winning lots of wagers.I was like you when Barney and the administration tore down CU football and left it a nuclear fallout. Just always take the UNDER when they play! More fun to win that way!Agree % I soothe my sadness by fading the Buffs and winning lots of wagers.
Just be sure to get back in time to see 2 good defensive plays before the 3rd down conversion.Bright side to being a Buffs fan.
When they start a drive you know you have three plays to go to the bathroom without missing anything before the punt.
The #FadeRobDeVereAndRetire approach is probably a money printer.Just always take the UNDER when they play! More fun to win that way!

I think I love you.I tried to become a fan of another team somewhere along the way, I think during the Hawk or maybe Embree years
I never went to CU and have zero ties to the school
I don't even live in Colorado
Why am I a CU fan? idk, I liked watching college football, this one team had sweet ass jerseys and a ****ing buffalo and kept almost beating this hideous Cornhusker team after Thanksgiving every year. They seemed likeable.
Then they sucked balls for forever, so I tried to become a fan of someone else.
USC? I'm from socal, they win a ****ing lot, what a great team to root for. But eh, can't force liking a team. And I just don't like USC
Come to CU! Immediately playing time under an OC who previously worked with Jordan Love right before he was drafted in the first round, led Minnesota to an 8-4 record in the tough Big 10, and has had previous stops at high flying offense at Notre Dame and Boise State!

Pretty sure QB has been included in a few places as a position they are looking to possibly add a guy (prep or transfer). Seems most likely to be a transfer in my estimation, though not sure if it’ll be the name-brand kind of kid folks are clamoring for.serious question, are we even in the market for a QB? I feel like we're not. And honestly, that's the most horrifying thing that has happened recently.
I don't dislike BL, he has potential, but he was the QB of a team that was microwaved dog**** on offense this season. Sometimes he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. And who knows what we have in Shrout.
That being said, how the **** are we not trying to upgrade the QB position? You know, the one position on a football team where one guy can change the fortunes of the entire team? Are we actively trying to lose?
