Over or under 2 wins in 2022?

Good, uplifting topic for my first thread start in over a decade.

This year has the potential to be the worst CU team that’s been fielded since before McCartney. No lines on this yet, but I’m assuming the over/under for CU wins this year will be set at 2.5. What’s your feel on that? There’s no FCS teams on the schedule this season… I honestly think there’s at least a 10% chance that they don’t win a single game.

TCU
@Air Force
@Minnesota
UCLA
@Arizona
Cal
@Oregon St
ASU
Oregon
@USC
@ Washington
Utah

Every game on that schedule could be a loss. I don't expect more than the 2.5 you are speculating. We took some meaningful losses on defense and got stung with the transfer portal too.

4 wins at the very least. Don’t ask me which games, but I’m sure the Buffs win 4 or more.

TCU and CAL are the two I could see winning
Air Force and Arizona are maybe
Oregon State and Arizona State are just wacky enough to be a win, maybe
The rest are definitely losses
I would hesitate on the over

I see 3.

If TCU rolls into Boulder and Sonny's boys can win, it could be worse. CU lost a lot in the portal, and got little in return.

ASU is a **** show, and we seem to have Washington's number lately. I also think that despite the uptick in recruiting at Arizona that CU still beats them.

I think CU finds a way to win 1-2 more games as well. I'm seeing 4-5 wins and a better brand of football next season.

In a surprise the Buffs go 6 and 6. Become bowl eligible, only to get boat raced in the “I shouldn’t have eaten corn last night” bowl game to coastal Carolina.
You have inflict the most emotional damage possible to yourself to be true buffs fan.

Funny how you think a dream season would inflict the most emotional damage.

I agree. That scenario is better than a bid to the vegan curry bowl.

Edit: I’ll predict 3 wins. But we won’t get a repeat win like the crazy we saw in the Washington game last year.
