College Football News, Rumor & Humor

What I have heard isn't the same things as the Coliseum which is relates to danger and crime. More that the traffic is bad, access is confusing, and despite it being a relatively nice area of the city they didn't find it a good place to hang out before or after a game in terms of drinking and dining options, etc. They are there but they weren't impressed, it just didn't have the same vibe as you would get in a town or city where the college is a big part of what is going on.
I went to the UCLA game in 2019. I’d describe the vibe there as… strange. Not bad, but definitely odd. Most of the parking/tailgating is done on a golf course (pictured). The stadium is super old and not at all magical for a normal game. The seats are also extremely uncomfortable and the rows are crammed in too close to one another. I’m 6’3” tall and basically had to turn sideways in my seat (which feels especially ridiculous when the stadium is about 40% full. It was also a night game that year and the difference between pregame temps when the sun was out and halftime temps after sundown had to be at least a 30 degree shift. It was crazy even by Colorado standards.

Speaking of CFN - we're ranked #105 :(
Where has our program gone?!?! This program and AD needs to be wiped clean as soon as possible

118 on The Athletic. There’s quite a few teams who have actually won a game this season lower than us, so we should be in the 120’s soon enough.

We need a complete reset, maybe from Pres on down. We need new leadership that understands where we need to be, and one that would take us to the B12. A complete f’ing reset

Sounds like Herm directed his staff to violate NCAA and university policies, then threw them under the bus while denying personal responsibility. Ruined careers.

It's going to be tough for ASU to come back quickly from this when they probably can't double down on dirty given the pending NCAA penalties.

They’re still probably going to beat us by 3 touchdowns.

Wow! Even Air Force cheats!! SIAP, but probation for 4 years for violating Covid rules. They lose 10 players each year for 4 years. Good that the NCAA is going after the bad guys!! :ROFLMAO:

what does that even mean for them? They have unlimited scholarships because of the nature of the academies.

AFA still will have 10 less players per season for four years. If the max roster size is 105, AFA can have only 95. I'm not sure this is going to have much of an impact.

Yeah, like, who are they going to beat anyway?

They do a JV and freshman squad. Normally they have between 135 and 150 players practicing with the program each year.

Difference is that beyond a certain number what would be the normal scholarship limit plus preferred walk-ons which IIRC is either 100 or 105 the rest are considered as non-preferred walk-ons and are limited in their team activities outside of the season.

This sanction will have very little impact on the number of actual players in uniform.
