Pertaining to MM bringing his entire staff from SJSU, I remember a lot of people being worried about the hire if he DIDN'T bring Lindgren and Baer, as it had shades of Dan Hawkins all over again. There was no reason for MM to not bring his entire staff, though. SJSU was a similar rebuild project as CU, and it took the entire staff to pull it off. I'm sure in hindsight, he would have found a different DC to bring with him, but I think he wanted as much continuity and backing as possible coming in here.

Oh, and throw in a few barbs at Mike Bohn while you're at it. We haven't seen that in like, a week.

Say what you want about Mike Bohn, but you've got to at least acknowledge that the dude totally ****ed you on the bike racks.

Do you actually read posts or just make crap up? Baer was a concern from the start. And yes, there were and are reasons MacIntyre should have hired more outside guys.

No, I don't go back in time and read your drivel from 2 years ago, Duff. I never said "people on these boards were concerned...". I have a life outside of ABs and do get a feel for the local/national pulse on sports topics. At the time, there were plenty of people who were calling the hire of MM "another Hawkins" if he didn't bring his staff with him. Pull your head out, Duff.

So go talk to those people if you want to call out their opinions. If they exist, of course. Otherwise trotting out bull**** from unnamed people you heard two years ago really has no bearing on Allbuffs. Hell, you were calling out the people who said Baer should be fired just a few short weeks ago.
 
Relatively new to the site, but does every thread on AllBuffs end up in petty personal arguments? Jeez, might as well head back to the cesspool that is NetBuffs.

Only the good ones. Seriously though, the other new guy seems to be tilting at windmills and then acting wounded when called on it.

McElwain was hired at Florida to do a job and he should hire the people who will best help him accomplish that job. He has to go out and Salvage this recruiting class - Florida had a ton of defections after the Change. I expect his time in the SEC gave him a pretty good idea of the coaches he would like on his staff.
