2021 Offseason Thread

No Auburn or Florida. Love it!

Stretching things a bit since ND is primarily gold and use some other colors as well.

Trying to think of a primarily blue team that is identified as being great and being blue. Not much in P5.

Don't know if it is just local but hard to look at teams identified with blue and not have Air Force on there.

I'm completely out of the loop - had just assumed Noyer was our presumptive starter. Would someone please be kind enough to educate me on our current QB situation? Or link me to where I can read up on it...

He lost his starting role after the Texas game. Coaches will rather go with the younger guy with a higher ceiling over a 5th year senior.

First, good luck to Sam.

Second, go watch the bowl game, Lewis was impressive.

JT Shrout a transfer from Tennessee is on campus, perhaps rooming with Lang, has a big arm and is more of a pro-style passer.

Some believe both are superior to Noyer and he was probably the odd man out.

Drew Carter is an incoming recruit. Plays basket ball and football, but I don't know much about him other than CU apparently beat out Boise in the recruiting battle.

Scholarship QBs are as follows:

Brendan Lewis - RS FR - Got some time in the bowl game and looked promising
JT Shrout - SO - Transfer from Tennessee
Drew Carter - FR - The lone 2021 QB recruit

Competition between Lewis and Shrout this Summer and Fall camp.

Wow. Best of luck Noyer the Destroyer. From his comments he seems to think he can start somewhere in the Pac 12. Where does he have a better chance of starting than here?

this is one of those "damn, i hope this works out" moments. noyer delivered last year, beyond our wildest expectations until he got hurt again.

b lewis looked very good against the 2nd team in the bowl game. definitely flashed more upside. and, of course, shrout is intriguing.

i get that noyer wants to start-- his career is near done. good luck to him and thanks-- last year was special.

Don't think he ends up anywhere in the Pac 12 but I'd say Oregon State, Arizona, and Stanford would be the most likely if he did. Oregon State would probably be the most likely given his relationship with Lindgren.
