2024-25 Coaching Carousel

Looks like RG refused/resisted CPs request for more NIL/money for players and assistants. Wonder how CP reacts to getting told no for the first time. My guess is, not well.
 
“met with resistance” doesn’t mean he didn’t eventually get what he was asking for or get partially what he wanted. When you do any type of negotiating and make them an offer other then what is presented its usually “met with resistance”

This is a fair point but I would think the story, had the admin agreed, would have been spun in the press as a positive for CU ("CU agrees to increase assistant pay and player NIL"). I also think CP would have released the info as leverage for a bigger package from Dallas. I understand that negotiations could be ongoing and CU's PR team can be ridiculously inept. My worry is that CPs cryptic today could actually be directed CU.

Interesting college rumor-theres a fair amount of smoke around Jim Knowles (Ohio State DC and a really good one in my opinion) possibly leaving for Oklahoma?

He was at OSU for a bit.....must have Oklahoma ties?

He did. An OU buddy of mine said he's been in a relationship with a woman who lives in OK dating back to his time working under the mullet.....and she now doesn't want to move to Ohio.

She might have saved Brent Venables' job 😂
