every time a coach bitches about NIL, they are just doing what Saban did over a year ago: telling their boosters to put up or shut up.
Have to think he's going to follow Smith to MSU and cash in on an NIL deal. His NFL prospects probably aren't good enough to just go to the draft this year.
Also could mean that if you are good enough to project as a top of the draft pick and the team or teams in line to pick you are disasters you may delay and hope next year you line up for a better situation.

No idea why scouts love that kid.
He was not on the team in 2023. Whether he officially went into the portal after Spring Ball is unknown to me, but I'm pretty sure he's trying to use the CU platform to put his name out there again.
