24-25 MBB Team

Feels like Tad worried about being able to guard Big Strong Tough Wings, Big12 so known for. Basking/Rancik/Jaki/Diop with length; but Kossaras/Crawford too thin?

BIG12 Update:
Cinci; if don't lose Aziz Bandaogo to NBA, should show-up on some early Top-25 lists? Have 1-2 spots & Need Big?
ASU 1 spot left: Go for yet another PtG or a Big- so 6'8 220 SF Sammie Yeanay doesn't have to play PF (not the worst option for them)?
Utah got it's PtG in Miro Little (backed up by Mason Madsen); still with 2 open spots and no SFs?
TCU committed to their elite guard play- by taking RJ Jones w/ final spot. Two 6'10 Bigs & 4 young/talented SFs- who will need to play-up to PF?
K-State lost Arthur Kaluma for-sure; then just lost out on their Top-2 front-court options. Desperate for multiple guys on Front-court with 4 open spots?
BYU, OSU, Tx Tech, & WV all with 4 open spots too (UCF w/ 3): all of them need multiple players in Front-Court (except Tx Tech; who could probably manage w/ 1)?
West Virginia only team in those 5 w/ early makings of strong roster (20 pt scorers at 1-3 spots), but Tx Tech's D strong enough to rise-up w/ the right Big?
Colorado seems solidly in 2nd Tier (6th-9th place) w/ Cinci, WV, Tx Tech SO FAR!!!!????
Big12 Update:
KU/Houston/Baylor(keeps getting stronger)/Iowa St/ & maybe Arizona (1 open spot, if lose Love 2NBA) still the creme of crop!

Cinci-getting TX transfer PF Dillon Mitchell may keep them in Top-25- if they lose Bandaogo 2NBA? USC transfer Arrentin Page seems thin at 5- more stretch 4?
W Virgina- Small/Powell/DeVries have all averaged 20pts at 1-3 spots. 6th year Yesufu solid back-up Pt. Tough 6'11 Andre Eduardo & PF Hansberry good start; but need to find some quality front-court depth with last 3 spots?
K-State-getting sweet-shooting SF Ikegwuruka helps. Achor Achor joins N’Guessan as 2 great perimeter-oriented 4s. Fall needs helps at 5. 2 open spots: big & G?
CU still in 2nd Tier- if young guards show-out, and long Forwards & Malone play as well as expected?

TX Tech-still w/ 5 Open Spots. 6'11 220 Federiko & All-Conference-level 6'7 4-Man Darrion Williams good start- but need front-court depth, & guard-help?
BYU- new ex- NBA coach regretting slow start in portal? 5 open Spots. W/ only 2 Bigs & 1 Wing on roster: hardest spots to find help at- this late in portal?
Utah- 2 open spots to address 0 True Wings? Go big w/ 3 long Fs in Keller/Dawes/Wahlin & skilled Frosh 4-man Jaxson Johnson? Lawson stuck in paint?
ASU- Hurley went with 5th point guard- as expected! 3 True Bigs- but super-tough Frosh Sammie Yeanay may be fine at 4 vs smallish Big12 front-courts?
TCU- Jamie Dixon has proven he can score a lot of points w/ 4-guard line-ups, but I'm not sold on his 2 Bigs/ 4 SFs 2 defend in Big-12?
UCF-surprised a lot of people 1st year, great guard play even better adding Mickey Williams, 6'10 Jocius only big, need loads of front-court help w/ last 3 spots?
OSU- Bryce Thompson has more back-court help, but long Ousmane at 5 & tough Jennings at 4 need front-court help w/ last 2 spots. & still to hold down cellar?

Now who will CU's five conference round robin opponents be?

Tx Tech & BYU got 4-star Freshman point guards this week: Christian Anderson & Elijah Crawford. Solidifies both backcourts.

Interestingly, teams with offers to Freshman Bigs, may help CU-if mass turn-over in conference equates to younger teams at the same time that Buffs w/ younger team?
Freshman Big offers:
TXTech: 6’11 Bronson Schmidt-Uili
BYU: 6’8 Aly Touré
K-State: 6’10
Luke Bamgboye

To clarify: meant Freshman all in ‘24 class.

Not renewing my tix this year. Too big of an increase, struggle to get anyone in the family to go and we are going to get trounced. Bad year to raise my ticket prices 15%
I got your back too. Too many nights conflict with school events and now that we’re no longer the “eastern” team in the conference I’m expecting more late games.

Struggling with this as well
Yep :( I love our seats and love going to games, but it’s tough when we know our team’s talent is having a big drop and our conf schedule is going to be much harder. So they raise prices using that last bit as justification, who we play against. Think I’m down to ride it out this year, but maybe we just drop and buy cheap single game tix for a bunch of games?

I hear you. And after 15 years my seats have been eliminated to make room for an "Elite Section" that will be empty most nights. Plus, the ticket office is flailing to find us seats that are comparable at a price and location that isn't a joke. Add in the fact this team MIGHT win 12-13 games next year. Not a good situation.

It's almost impressive how hard they've bungled this.

Dream to win 13 games? Dream to finish .500 in Big12 & get to the NCAA! Nothing less! Strength Of Schedule is Top-50 w/ 3 games at Maui Invite featuring 6 Top-25 caliber teams+CU & Memphis! Trust The Process: back to Top-20 D=Top-35 team? Advantage Of Big12 is 8-10 teams 2Tourney

I'm keeping my tix, but the burnout is real. Not looking forward to listening to rock chalk again.

I don't mind the increase, kind of surprised it didn't come sooner to be honest. Totally understand why others aren't ok with it and are dropping out. The program is looking at an uncertain future.

We'll lose to every one of those teams by double digits. We're leaving Maui 0-fer. 15 wins is the absolute ceiling for this team right now, so hedging my bets I'm calling 13 wins TOTAL. Get a real PG and we can talk again.

One of my group texts responded to the price increase with “well, at least we can gouge Kansas fans for their yearly visit this year”
