No, they will just claim that playing games in cold weather locations is unfair and that had the game been played in the South Tennessee would have dominated.
Columbus is only a 5 hour drive from Knoxville. It's closer than most SEC venues.

Oh and regarding the SEC, Texas looked good despite their crappy quarterback, but we all know they aren't a real SEC team anyway.

I was joking when I made the comment about the lower seed playing on the road, but I'm kind of coming around to the idea.

Michigan ranks right with them, and Indiana beat them.

Alabama, South Carolina, and Ole Miss are comparable to Clemson, Indiana, SMU.

I think there's a very strong chance Bama and Ole Miss lose a road playoff game by 14+ points as well.

Judge Bama as harshly for how they played Oklahoma as you're all judging the road teams this weekend and you have nothing to stand on.
Alabama/Ole Miss are a step above the teams you listed there

A Texas-Oregon final would be kind of funny. Too bad they are on the same side of the bracket.

0-4 for the 12-team playoff format right out of the gate and ASU and BSU haven’t even played yet.

Most years the four team playoffs had at least a couple of duds, this is not an improvement.
