Bowl Games (other than ours) and associated silliness 2024 Plus the Playoffs

Think I want Ohio State to lose because f*ck those weirdos. And Texas winning would be good because it gives their fans a sense they can win. The Oh So Close factor seems to fit better with Texas than Ohio State. Then I hope Notre Dame beats Penn State, and smokes Texas in the championship game.

Ryan Day is going to make Just for Men a fair amount of $ if Ohio State wins it all.

LOL I agree!

I heard some talk that there is a push to switch the Orange and Cotton Bowls next week as far as which day each is on since the Sugar Bowl got delayed a day and will play next Thursday in the Orange. But it seems doubtful that will happen.

announcers not helping parker jones
I missed that live, but watching the replay and Kirby flipping out made my memory snap back to the play in the SEC CG where Kirby was on the white and jumped up like he was thinking about making a play on the ball. He's always pushing his limit with the sideline, it's 100% on him for not regularly having himself and his team not crowding the sideline.

Perhaps a charitable interpretation would be that the sideline is cramped in Athens between the hedges, so they're all conditioned to be closer than is probably a good idea.

Wouldn't it be equivalent to one team playing on a Friday, another team playing on Saturday, and them playing each other the next Saturday?

I mean, one will have 8 day's rest and 7 day's rest.

With the delay of the Sugar Bowl the winner will only get 7 day's rest whereas PSU gets 9 day's rest

The NCAA could have been that body. In another universe, maybe it is.
The only way we get a governing body for college sports with any authority, NCAA or otherwise, is if congress actually passes a law that provides that governing body the ability to set and enforce rules without having some court throw it out.

Let’s be real. The teams that really shouldn’t have been in this cfp:

Oregon
Boise State
SMU
Tennessee

We really only need 8 teams, which will get rid of the buy week, so everything will be dandy. Conference champions are in (if we need to stick with conferences), except Oregon (because they suck) and any bitch team not in a p4.
