Bowl projections

Isn't there some kind of unwritten rule that two teams from the same conference shouldn't meet in bowl games? Or am I misremembering?
It’s a written rule, but the conferences signed multi-year deals with the bowls and so they are requiring the former pac-12 teams to keep the bowl commitments.

So ASU will get to bow out of that agreement somehow since they'll be in the CFP?

When we went to the Alamo bowl in 2016, a bunch of friends road-tripped to SA so we didn’t look at any flights or anything. My parents keep saying CU typically offers packages for flight & hotel to the bowl games. Anyone know if this is true?

Road tripping is better

Still hoping for BYU-CU in the Alamo since we haven't seen those two play each other since the 1988 Holiday Bowl.

That potential Shedeur versus Cam Ward in the Holiday is something I'd be interested in watching.
CU 42, BYU 17. An excellent outcome but sleep inducing by halftime. 2026 Buff recruits will be playing video games or catch in the park. I do agree with your Holiday Bowl take.....

I think its going to be BYU, but Iowa State would be better for the program I think. Campbell's a hell of a coach, and we'd get more of a test from them I think.

BYU feels like a 7-8 win that had a lot go right until they played Kansas. We'd obliterate them.

Good chance to finish this campaign with a Top 15 ranking and a 10-win season. I'd be pretty damn satisfied with that result.
One caveat: we are the lowest ranked 9-3 P4 team right now but I’m hopeful of the same.

FWIW, every SWA flight is booked to/from DIA to SA on 12/27 and 12/29
I know it may be a drive, but maybe look at flying out of COS?
Booked speculative SW (love their cancellation policy) tix this past Monday for the whole family (5) out of COS - glad I did.

Edit: @southcakalakey beat me to the recommendation.
