Conference Championship Games 12/6-12/7

Lol when these talking heads talk about “dangerous precedent” with playoff selections.

The Supreme Court of the United States has said they don’t give a f*ck about precedent. Like it matters to a committee who ranks college football teams.

Oregon, UGA, Clemson and ASU should get the byes. Boise probably will but that hot garbage conference should limit them from getting a week off.

I would guess the byes are going to be Oregon, UGA, Boise, and ASU.

Give Clemson credit for what they did, but you cannot deny what ASU did today.

Not as much chaos as there could have been but pretty close. Let the glorious angst begin.

The committee makes their own rules as they go, but I doubt they'll punish a team for losing in a conference championship game. If so, this will be the last year there's a conference championship game.

teams have been punished for ccg losses multiple times before

Oregon took Oklahoma's QB. OU sucks. Ohio State took KSU's QB. KSU sucks. Miami took WSU's QB and has a Heisman candidate. I don't really know what you're basing this on. Oregon State lost starters to Miami and USC and Texas. Talent is being consolidated now more than ever. Evan Williams transferred from Fresno to Oregon and could be an all pro as a rookie in the NFL. There are teams like Indiana or SMU who pop off each year, otherwise it's the usual suspects. The 5 star DL from aTm who transferred went to Ole Miss and Alabama. The 5 star WR went to Oregon. etc, etc, etc. This **** moves in one direction.
As I said, it’s all relative. I understand it’s consolidating talent from lower levels to high levels, but there are more P4 teams being competitive with the traditionally elite programs than ever before. Oregon is the closest thing to a truly elite team this year and they are nowhere close to where most of Saban’s Bama teams, the back to back UGA teams, the Natty Clemson teams or Urban’s Ohio State and Florida teams.

I didn’t say it made Rutgers on par with Bama, but more second and third tier programs are landing blue chip recruits and transfers now than what they were able to pull before.

I’m kind of disappointed that the selection committee is dressed like slobs. I was picturing a bunch of guys in power suits sitting around a conference table.

No women? In power pants suits? Very sexist, Hallet.

Oregon isn't elite at any one thing, they're just above average at everything. Tonight was impressive, I didn't think the offense could carry when the D had a bad one.

Also, thank you for Nikko Reed.

And Christian Gonzalez.

God’s plan, blah, blah, blah. STFU 🙄🤮

If you believe in God, then okay. Your choice. If you believe God has a plan for your football team, you are a moron.

Our coach might think that. Just sayin.
