Maybe I am wrong, but by default isn't every post in an online forum pretty much someone's opinion and not a statement of fact? Do we really need disclaimers or sarcasm fonts to make sure people understand they are not reading the NY times?
Well, I think there's a big difference between stating:
"The PAC will survive"

And stating:
"If a media deal comparable to the XII's can be negotiated and current member flight risk mitigated, then i think the PAC will survive"

Could be just me, but those statements mean very different things. Both posted to a message board, one worded as fact the other caveated and worded as opinion.

I tend to believe that overstating things beyond one's knowledge should be avoided. I also tend to believe opinions should not be stated as known facts. Probably why I'm not a CEO.

No ****ing conjecture you son of a bitch!

If there is a deal, we could see some leaks. I don’t think anyone knew the details before, now if you want to get this on the Pac 12 website, a web manager needs to know. Social media needs to know. Partners? Presumably the P12 has them and they’ll want to issue their own press and what not. The circle has expanded.

It’s all about A-I-D-A. Attention, does this deal have our attention? Interest, are we interested because it’s f*** or walk. Decision, have we made our decision. Action.

I think your meds need to be adjusted. I have no idea what you just said.

I'm looking forward to more esoteric discussions about absolute nonsense. Enough about streaming v linear nonsense. It would be best if Liver and a few others stayed drunk.

Pac-12 Networks should revisit the idea of having eSports with gaming teams representing each campus and it going through PACN.

It's hugely popular, would connect with a younger audience, and could lead to growth of PACN social platforms.

would have to be done via the app-- and maybe in a partnership deal with twitch to maximize eyeballs-- also, i would like the programming content to include drunken female mud wrestling teams and beer pong.

let's go big.

also....

Is this week going to be the week that finally delivers the long awaited P12 media rights deal? SDSU is already on their way out of the MWC and SMU faces that same June 30th deadline which is this Friday.

Given the lack of urgency on the P12's end probably means this isn't the week.

I doubt that you guys will believe my memory about this video....

I likely watched MTV five or more hours a day at the time, so I got to know the intricacies of these videos. In the original version of this video, you could see her nipple during the scene where she is hanging out of the car. I spent a lot of time trying to capture the nipple shot on my VCR, but the technology was not that great back then. Anyway, before long, the video was edited, and the nipple shot was removed. I know, cool ****ing story. Sorry for sharing a magical moment from my youth.
