CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

CSU has to have something to aim for.

In all seriousness, I watch plenty of G5 (and FCS) football. The games are just as fun.
I have 5 screens going on Saturdays, so I usually end up with g5 game on one of them I agree that they are fun with the right teams. I loved watching Boise games with Hawkins and then Peterson back in the day. This is my set up at the compound. The side tv's are 55's and the center is a 110 inch projector screen

So is Spiff there too? He works at Mission Control and that looks like Mission Control.

Do you live in a church basement?

It's not even a debate between UNLV and UNR.

- 30,660 vs 21,034 students
- 65,000 vs 27,000 stadium
- 2,265,000 vs 565,000 metro population

One of these has the resources to compete and one of these does not.

The other HAD Chris Ault. That’s it.

Makes sense even if the MWC had held together or merged completely with OSU/WSU. As things stand, AFA would be crazy to not go to the AAC - if for no other reason than the scheduling flexibility which arises from Army & Navy being part of the conference schedule.

You are correct, but AFA not being with the Western schools is actually more depressing to me than the Pac-12 imploding. CU is back with a lot of the schools we used to play. AFA has been in the WAC/MWC for damn near 60 years. I used to go to Falcon Stadium and watch those games. Just another piece of Western college football being pulled apart by greed.

Not looking forward to the loss of the AFA-CSU and AFA-WYO rivalries. CSU already went on record saying they would attempt to keep their rivalries going but we will have to see about WYO returning the favor to CSU.

I went to a Navy-AFA game at Falcon Stadium and I really enjoyed that game. Maybe this will lead to more AFA-CU games in the future.

I think the Pac-12 should hold a few spots for ACC refugees when it implodes.

Stanford will never come, but Cal might have to have a conference, SMU burned their AAC bridge, and a school like Louisville will need a landing spot. Grabbing UTSA might be a move they regret, kinda like how we all know Yormark secretly regrets bringing in UCF, Cincinnati, and Houston.

Louisville is more valuable than half the Big12, they will have a spot for sure in a bigger league

The Super League is becoming more and more obvious because these conferences are sooooo dumb

Just come up with three leagues and no conferences, these conferences are such a bad format for Football, but are valuable for non-football sports, besides basketball. The Networks would be so much more happy to see a cleaner product

This whole realignment thing jumped the shark a while back. UTSA to the Pac is hilarious. Perhaps DeVry is looking to make a move....
I think UTSA is in a better position than a lot of people think. After merging with UT Health San Antonio, they are on track to be AAU accredited.
