ESPN had live reporters at the pro day as the lead story and theme of the NFL Today show. Interviews with Prime and Shedeur and I think with Travis although I didn't watch all of it.This could go in the "Prime Effect" thread. I'm not in Colorado today and tuned to ESPN radio while driving. For the show I caught, the CU pro day was the topic for an entire segment. That's insane for a team that went 9-4, didn't make the playoffs and only has 2 guys who are priority draft picks. Love it!
After this commercial break, Shedeur’s pro day/draft status is the next Sports Center segment. This could go in the "Prime Effect" thread. Please god no! Don’t take a qbTitans cancelled their private meeting with Shedeur. Tea leaves have Ward going #1
They already drafted Willis, didn't they learn their lesson?Titans cancelled their private meeting with Shedeur. Tea leaves have Ward going #1
Not surprised. He had to show he was fast enough, but I was certain his catch radius athleticism was going to be pretty elite.Decent article in the Denver Post today about the attention Will Sheppard is receiving after Pro Day.

Broncos need a late-round WR? Three sleepers lie up Route 36 at CU
The roar came immediately, a rising chatter reverberating throughout CU’s weight room Friday, as Will Sheppard’s hand slapped dangerously close to the top of a vertical test-stick.www.denverpost.com
His vertical jump and broad jump would have been top 3 and 4 of WRs in the NFL Combine. I think the guy made him some money during this Pro Day.Not surprised. He had to show he was fast enough, but I was certain his catch radius athleticism was going to be pretty elite.
The dude put up good numbers for a terrible Vanderbilt team that gave Walter Taylor snaps…against the SECDecent article in the Denver Post today about the attention Will Sheppard is receiving after Pro Day.

Honestly, I would LOVE if he ended up in New Orleans with Kellen Moore as his mentor.Browns just signed Joe Flacco. Where Shedeur lands will be the story of the draft, especially if he falls
Info coming out saying Derek Carr has a shoulder injury and his ‘25 season is in jeopardyHonestly, I would LOVE if he ended up in New Orleans with Kellen Moore as his mentor.
I still don't think he gets past the Raiders at 6, so someone is going to need to trade up ahead of that pick. 49ers and Steelers would make the most sense, imo.I don’t know if this true or not, but seeing some buzz that the 9ers have been quietly kicking Shedeur’s tires. Skeletor Jr. would be a pretty nice cube coach for Shedeur…
Here is an article from a NY Giants fan site about Sheppard:

I thought Horn would run better.
Shilo is fast enough for the position, but it comes down to how he does on other things (read, recognize, react, use technique, have proper footwork, take the correct angle). Basically, that's acceptable speed for Safety but he doesn't have plus speed for recovery to cover mistakes. Lots of guys taken from Rd4 on are like Shilo - less than the complete package, nothing physically off the charts - and some end up being excellent players for a lot of years.
I think the Raiders feel like Geno is their answer. TBH, if he gets in the 7-9 range, I could see the 9ers make a move without losing too much.I still don't think he gets past the Raiders at 6, so someone is going to need to trade up ahead of that pick. 49ers and Steelers would make the most sense, imo.
Ugh I definitely would have an easier time rooting for him with the Saints than LV or SF!I think the Raiders feel like Geno is their answer. TBH, if he gets in the 7-9 range, I could see the 9ers make a move without losing too much.
Bradshaw and Roethlisberger is pretty high up for franchise QBs among NFL franchises and their histories. Not many can top that.Steelers would be a dream. Stable franchise and not super QB friendly but Roethlisberger did ok obviously. Also they’re probably my second favorite franchise and I liked them growing up since Kordell played for them
Great ownership leads to a very stable situation where players and coaches can thrive. A Big Ben type career would be great for Shedeur. A couple of rings, some pro bowl selections, retire wealthy. Not a bad deal.Steelers would be a dream. Stable franchise and not super QB friendly but Roethlisberger did ok obviously.
