The Buffs have the opportunity to close out the month of January at 5-5 in coference play. Beat the Sun Devils and they would also negate the loss to Washington last week in Boulder. It would be a big boost to their RPI and Dance bid hopes. Fingers crossed they find a way to win today. Once again: Limit turnovers, crash the boards hard, draw fouls, make free throws, hit the 3-ball, etc, etc. What we saw on Thursday night against UofA was encouraging, now the question is can they do it again against a ranked opponent on the road?

Biggest question is if the refs will be fair. I hope it's not the same crew as Thursday.
Buffs by 5 in a fair game
 
This is a huge game-they're a wounded animal. They haven't collapsed like UCLA is currently, but they're getting there.
 
This is a good matchup for the Buffs against a very talented team with 3 starting senior guards leading their team in scoring. Buffs won't get overwhelmed by their size like we saw against Arizona. This one's about perimeter defense and limiting turnovers.
 
ASU is in full collapse mode, I see them as wounded and confused but not wounded and dangerous. Not that winning will be easy for the Buffs (guessing we won’t hit 55% again?), but unless we come out flat we should have a shot at the win.
 
Will Hurley be able to tolerate another loss to the Buffs?

 
Hurley got way out of line for sure, especially when he was exhorting crowd to get even angrier. But the D i c k C h a r d definitely flopped.
