Game Thread: Cincy @ CU—October 26 @ 8:15 PM ESPN

2 Point conversions are completed >50% of the time, which means that you're likely to convert at least one if you try two.

They have to score two TDs to win, so they'll have two chances.

If they convert the first one, then they have the option to just kick for the win. If they don't, they still have a better than 50% odds on getting two the next time.
And if you hit it you avoid OT which in theory is a 50% chance but the home team wins more than 50% of the time.

In the end it wasn't going to matter because the Cincinnati D was tired and not going to stop our offense and had they gotten it back they don't have the offense for quick TDs.

I have no idea. Satterfield is an odd dude.

It has to do with the nature of cumulative probabilities. Since the Bearcats only needed one success for the payout and the conversion rate is relatively high it makes sense. As an example if the probability of success is 40 percent then in two trials (the number of trials given they score twice) their chance of getting at least one is 64 percent.

I read that as Peggy’s giving handjobs.

I’m getting a little tired of seeing the comments about a turnaround from a 1-11 team. 1-11 doesn’t do that team justice, that team was so much worse than their record. To be in the hunt for a conference title 2 years after that pathetic display of a football team is a damn miracle.

The 2022 team gave up FIFTY more touchdowns than they scored.

I always say that '22 to '23 was a 3 TD per game improvement. Not to mention the '23 schedule was probably a TD per game tougher.

What kind of bitch-ass question is this?
The reporters asked both Coach Prime and Shedeur about how they felt about Isaiah's performance and they both immediately pivoted to everyone helps and it is this or that, instead of a simple, Proud of the young man, he did great. If that is bitch ass, whatevs
