Game Thread: Cincy @ CU—October 26 @ 8:15 PM ESPN

I can honestly say, that in my 35 years as a CU football fan, I've never felt less emotion toward a conference opponent.

I've never seen Cincinnati play before (I'm not saying they haven't been good for a while - I've just never felt inspired to watch one of their games).

Just no opinion about them at all.
It's ok. No one watches Cincinnati football.

I once had a brief layover in the Cincinnati airport. It had the feel of a low-end Reno casino.

It's probably not fair to judge a town on a layover, but it left an impression.
My extended family is from Louisville, which oddly feels connected, essentially just across the river from Cincinnati, and our closest relatives live in Cinci.

My 95 year old grandmother was a hard-core, Red’s fan, who lived in seasonal disappointment since pretty much the Johnny Bench era.

My dad was in the Red’s farm leagues til he threw out his arm, and for while he held the record for most rushing yards in H.S. for one of the geographical areas around Cinci. First person in his family to go to college (Vandy).

Beyond that, Cincinnati is a city. It’s built on a bunch of hills. It sells an odd tasting chili. 🤷‍♂️ That’s about all I ever really noticed about it.

Yep. It feels like it's all connected. I road tripped from Vandy to Cinci a bunch of times and things have only grown up since then. 'Course, we had a keg in our road trip van. Soo...

Actually, I also think it's because Cinci is on both sides of the river... now that I think back.

(There's a really big college party once a year in Cinci. I can't remember what it's called. We had a "brother" frat house there... I remember sleeping ON a cabinet one year. A cabinet.)

Probably because the Cincinnati airport is in Kentucky. Thought a layover there was going to my first time in Ohio, instead it was my first time in Kentucky.

Hey. I’m 70. She’s 75. When you get to be my age, your perspective changes!
Hey, man, don't sweat it. Whatever they say, it's not as if just about every guy here wouldn't fvck her. Don't let them treat you like you were talking about Anna Kendrick.
