I mean...we had Shilo lined up one on one with Edwards when they were in 5 wide.

The refs didn't make much of a difference. We're better by 2 tds. Easy. But we lost. We just didn't bring it tonight.
Before or after the ball got there. A complete lack of situational awareness from the staff down to the players. Who cares about giving up 15 there?
Huh? It was a bad matchup and we *almost* stole a win.

Ya. We played wrong. And without our entire wr crew and best corner. KSU wasn't good, dude. Straight up.
KSU is pretty good, not nearly great, just like 75% of the Big 12 (including us). But we definitely got outplayed tonight.
Shilo coming back for this game was a major reason why we lost.
Oh, big props to the interior OL of KSU. They defined the game.
Zilinkas held the entire game.

I would say just like 100% of the Big XII. I don’t think anyone is consistently better than what was on the field tonight.
I agree with that. Which is why it is such a maddening loss.
But we now need two teams to lose 2 games and KSU to lose 1 while we go undefeated the rest of the way. Only reasonable remaining goal for this team is a bowl game.

But **** the CU fans that sell their tickets to opposing fans. When I'm in my home stadium, I want to be happy with the people around me, and sad with the people around me. It sucks to be heartbroken in Folsom, while others are celebrating two feet from me.
As easily as we moved the ball against KSU, I'm not sure how we lost. Except, as easily as KSU moved the ball against us, I'm not sure how we could have won.
On the drive in the fourth quarter (where we got the interception) I'm not sure why KSU wasn't just handing off to 31. They could have just ended the game. And really, there was no point for Edwards to ever be in the game.
When my section saw the obvious DPI on what turned out to be the final play of the game we all cheered. First down! Except...somehow...alas.

Yup. Just texted this to my buddy. With how BYU and Iowa State are rolling, we’re pretty much shot unless all three unravel.
This was his Travis against Stanford defensively but way worse.
Yep! This was just two good teams going against each other. This really feels like the NFL in the Big XII.
But it could end up being a good bowl game.
Obviously a close call that could’ve gone either way. But I’ve always thought that when the defender hits the receiver and wraps his arms around the receiver 5 yards before the ball arrives it is PI. But that’s just me.
With the injuries we got. This can be real tough for us.

The non call at the end has stirred up a bit of controversy. That play isn’t why we lost. But I hate officials so any embarrassment they may get is fine with me!
