Call me a sick bastard if you must, but I love the Balch experience on game day. Great memories of playing intramural basketball in that place. And, making my way to the troughs after multiple beers in the far corner of the facility is terrific!

RG, don't change a thing.

My dad unironically says the same thing.

Same! I said it before - maybe even earlier in this thread - but keep the building and update the inside as necessary. Plumbing, suites, press box, etc.

Bball or fball?

Fball was full sized, ~255, which is our new normal.

In bball, they split the band for most non-con games. For CSU and the conference games during the semester, it will be the full group -- ~90 or so.

For reference, under previous band leadership, the bball band got over 100, but that was straining the boundaries. 90ish is a good size.

The recipe for the Buffs is to not add any sports, particularly stupidly expensive ones like baseball or ice hockey.

Don’t add unnecessary facilities that do little to improve player experience or competitiveness, especially in sports not named basketball or football.

Keep university overhead low. Alumni and other donations flow to players as direct comp.

While taking a bio break at the hoops game last night it occured to me the troughs at Folsom get disproportionate attention vs those at the CUEC.

The layout at Folsom which encourages eye contact with another urinating male does take trough use to another level of awkwardness, so maybe fair.

I still think CU should embrace what we have and maybe even market it: "Folsom Field -- it's not a place for insecure men"

Hmm…would fans be eligible for NIL deals?

I feel a “North Dakota: Be Legendary!” Photo Op/marketing campaign brewing for this.

I was in Berlin a few months ago and saw a bunch of New Jersey ads on taxis.

I wonder if we see any smaller scale Folsom improvements done this offseason. Need to capitalize on the influx of cash.

The scoreboard was announced Nov 8 2023 fwiw

I saw Supertramp there when I was a student. The most musically flawless concert I’ve ever seen. However, in my senior years, find Balch to be a miserable game day experience.
