Yes, we have all that grass and a turf field down there, we have Franklin field outside the IPF, but as far as having the absolute best Indoor Football Field, it is not that, because it has the track around it. I would work to make an indoor track building for sure, and then football and if needed Lacrosse and Soccer could use it. In fact, I would play Lacrosse inside as much as needed if it was all turf and not limited by the track.

This looks like a site issue. The building was not built wide enough. Or long enough.

Bill McCartney won an mNC without an IPF. They practiced in Balch if the weather was really bad which is rare for CO.
They can practice some stuff on Folsom. Or the lower fields.

The IPF in reality lets you work on secret stuff.
 
Seriously? We have one of the best indoor facilities in college football. The indoor track allows CU to host sanctioned indoor meets.

Now, that is an older article and maybe there are newer facilities, but, regardless, ours is excellent.

Yeah. Of all the things, I don't see how the IPF would be anywhere near the list of facility problems to address.

Certainly not when the only complaint is that the corners of the end zones are cut off by the track. Irrelevant issue. They have like 4 other full size football fields they can practice on outside.

I am discussing dream and wish list, not priority. My point is that the IPF as a football only (soccer and lacrosse) would also work, is ideal and the lack of a pure full-size field is less than ideal. We also spent a lot of money on our track at East campus and putting an indoor track next to the outdoor would be pretty spectacular. All this is a dream, the stadium renovations are priority
