I couldn’t tell. I think Kanell and prime have history that go way back.
He has always disliked Prime from their playing days. Despite growing up wealthy, he takes on a faux working class personae. He’s a less well known Tucker Carlson.
A lumberjack was interviewing for a job. The lumber company president asked him if he's ever chopped wood before. He said "of course, I did a lot of work in the Sahara forest." The interviewer said "the Sahara is a desert."
"Sure, NOW it is" said the lumberjack.
I dont think they were at FSU at the same time. Kanell came later.
Imitating Tucker Carlson is pretty lucrative if you can pull it off.
EDIT: Danny McManus was FSUs QB thru 1987. Chip Ferguson took over in Deions last year, 1988. Danny Kanell: 1993, 94, 95.

Ahhh.
I didnt get to see him much in the NFL days as he was off away playing on NFC teams and there was no Sunday Ticket back then.
Reddit has lost its mind about Prime. It is insanity. Every other thread is about Prime, only acknowledging anything that can be spun in a negative light.

It's very normal. We got so much attention in the way that we are the center of CFB now, of course fans of other teams will be jealous and mad. If coaches like Jay nowell or Dan Lanning hates us so much that they started doing things out of their character to attack us, what do you expect those keyboard warriors from other teams?
