Wow. I've met him and like him, but that would be a heck of a rise. From a below average year in the MWC to head coach in the SEC. I selfishly hope this is right!

Syracuse: Sources tell FootballScoop that Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash is a strong candidate for the head coaching position at Syracuse. Ash has served as co-defensive coordinator at Ohio State the past two seasons, as DC at Arkansas in 2013 and at Wisconsin in 2011 & 2012. We have not heard a timetable for a decision and were told earlier today that other candidates were still in the process.

Mizzou has to be interested in Calhoun. Bobo makes no sense right now. Shocked to see him interviewing right now for another gig given AFA is playing for the MWC title Saturday. USC had to promote Helton-the same AD who hired Seven win Sark wasn't going to go get them Chip Kelly. Is it funny to see big bad UT being handcuffed by little North Texas? They want Sonny Cumbie as a playcaller, but he's waiting to see how the drama with Doug Meacham plays out.
Joe Schad saying Scott Frost will be announced as HC of UCF.
