What a chicken **** statement. "Greg Schiano is a great coach who has never been officially mentioned as being part of the Penn State situation, but we have succumbed to the mob of a fan base in Knoxville, and have decided to let them run the program".
Past few years have been really rough on Jimbo personally. That divorce was pretty messy too. Sometimes a guy just needs a change of scenery.good god. What the hell must have happened at FSU for Jimbo to do this. He must hate how he's recruited or something.
Checking the ACC standings, there are 2 teams out of 14 with worse conference records this year. Fisher is a pretty similar risky hire at this point for a program that is already loaded with talent, but has a record of underachieving. I'd be looking for a coach who's teams exceed their talent. Recruiting isn't the issue.Texas A&M going to spend 30 million dollars on buyouts and new coaches in one year. Freaking unreal
Really? seems like there are still some good candidates out there for them. Taggart, Frost and Leavitt all seem like good fits for them IMO.I think FSU might end up being a big loser in this coaching carousel.

Mike MacIntyre it is. Definitely a program in need of a rebuild.Frost or Taggart would be very good. Leavitt seems like a reach there.
But what if they cannot get those guys?
It sucks to think about Ole Miss, the 4th or 5th best program in its own division and about to have the NCAA hammer dropped on them, is going to attract better ACs than CU could dream of right now.Kind of has to be, at Ol Miss, with sanctions looming, no? You either lure assistants with contracts that are way above market value, or you go on the cheap and hope to get some up and comers who will try to build their resume with an SEC assistant job.
