There are two things going on:
If an SEC team isn't playing in a national championship, or against another SEC team (which is like a national championship), they simply don't care about the game.
AND...
Any team playing an SEC team will always bring their best, because they know they're playing the best.
Lol announcers even commented that Mike Sanford was let go at Minnesota. Fortunately, they didn’t mention that he was hired quickly to the same position at Colorado.
What an embarrassment to hire another programs trash to the same position. Especially considering it wasn’t some elite program.

They probably did lie about it, at least, misled. Don't tell me you cancel a game a few hours before kickoff and didn't know anything was wrong. Straight up bull****.
Maryland is absolutely mudholing VT. Given I don’t have much of a rooting interest in either team, that makes for a pretty boring game.

Not a good day for @hokiehead and his VT squad. Starting a 3rd string QB and missing a number of other key players off a squad that got it's coach fired in season isn't a good plan against a team that was motivated to get it's first bowl win in a long time.
Crazy to think CU is coming up on two decades since their last bowl win.

And our last couple bowl games we have been boat raced like VT was today. Maybe not quite as bad on the final score but looking like we didn't even belong on the same field as out opponent.

We lost two close bowl games to loser programs Clemson and Alabama shortly thereafter!
Think I’m taking ISU as a contrarian pick in the pool I’m in. Clemson loses both coordinators and first non CFP bowl game in 7 years has to give them a bit of that lackluster mentality. Come on Matt Campbell!
