I don’t think Jesus was very happy about it though. I read somewhere that he wept.Jesus kept him on the bench?
No…he wasn’t skated to start. He played on a 13-0 team his freshman year, albeit limited, and then played more on last years team that was entirely inept. He was slated to start this upcoming year for them. Coming to any conclusions on a guy in those circumstances is dumb and you don’t really have anything to base it on. Just a weird take
Yes, he was slated to start last year, according to FSU’s 247, and likely would have been projected similarly this year. No…he wasn’t skated to start.
You’ve got a weird idea in your head that he’s really good…and that Prime would never take a flier on a guy.
This kid a flier. He didn’t leave FSU because they were bad, he left because his path to PT was murky at best.
I mean Jesus, there’s plenty of places to read reports about his time at FSU in various forums.
Massive physical talent. Not a good football player…yet.
Like I said, I hope our coaches unlock him.
Williams was projected to step into a starting role last season, but a hamstring injury suffered on a long touchdown catch in camp slowed him down for the first month of the season and Williams never got into a groove.
He then broke his thumb during a freak accident trying to protect a parent on the sideline from a misplaced pass this spring.
He ended up entering the rotation of a receiving corps that included Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson as a rookie, distinguishing himself as a blocker and also showing surprising speed in a big frame on a touchdown reception against Syracuse. He also had a key catch in FSU's comeback win against Duke, but his season was cut short with an ankle sprain.
Pretty much, yeahWhy does everyone think we will suck this year? Is it just we lost Travis and Shedeur and so we will definitely suck? I’m on the heartland college sports board and they are all good guys over there, but are all convinced CU is a bottom half of the Big 12 team. This team looks loaded to me.
In avg recruit rating, CU has ranked top 4th, 1st and 1st in the Big 12 during Primes first three recruiting classes. They’ve also done better than most other Big 12 programs in the portal over the last two seasons. CU is as talented as any program in the Big 12, if not more. Anyone suggesting CU isn’t a factor this year doesn’t know ball. Why does everyone think we will suck this year? Is it just we lost Travis and Shedeur and so we will definitely suck? **** John Stockton!
Because everyone continues to want to believe that Prime is nothing more than a fluke. Why does everyone think we will suck this year? Prognosticators still have this weird thing about building lines through the portal. In avg recruit rating, CU has ranked top 4th, 1st and 1st in the Big 12 during Primes first three recruiting classes. With the size of our OL, I’m ready for us to run the Power-I.In avg recruit rating, CU has ranked top 4th, 1st and 1st in the Big 12 during Primes first three recruiting classes. Cut and paste Yak's post liberally. Report back. Why does everyone think we will suck this year? Is it just we lost Travis and Shedeur and so we will definitely suck? I just posted a Mountain-like behemoth of a post over there on this topic. In avg recruit rating, CU has ranked top 4th, 1st and 1st in the Big 12 during Primes first three recruiting classes. I think you are both right. They want us to suck, so they think we’ll suck.
And yet the New Mexico kid is going to be Michael Vick now that he is in Utah! Barely completes 50% of his passes and throws a lot of INT’sAll hinges on the QB.
Fear of the unknown I suppose.
I think he will do well. It'll be a heavy run based offenseAnd yet the New Mexico kid is going to be Michael Vick now that he is in Utah! Barely completes 50% of his passes and throws a lot of INT’s
But he is already on Heisman lists, Salter has done more.I think he will do well. It'll be a heavy run based offense
Yes. Started at Miss State, then went to Coastal Carolina before hereWas that this guy?
Simeon Price

The sum parts of all this Transfer Class cannot be understate. They hit on so many guys, and our "Front Office" is very good at their jobsNot bad for a guy that's likely 4th on the depth chart.
DeKalon Taylor jumps out in the clips so far. I'm excited for him.
