Official Allbuffs CFB gambling thread

I ended yesterday ahead $10.00 lol
by taking CU +6, Oregon -9.5, North Carolina -29.5 (some time in the 2nd qtr) and Hawaii for the win. All in all I've had a great 7 days.

On Bovada, I just bet $25 on the Over for Phillip's receiving yards today: 7.5 (-115). (he has to play for there to be a bet). Also $10 on the Over for his rushing yards: 40.5 (-120). I'm hoping he has those by halftime.

Went 7-9 yesterday but unfortunately lost one game on each parlay (4 and 5 teamers).

today I have another 5 team parlay of seattle -3, broncos falcons over 48.5, miami money line, Minnesota -3.5 and houston -6.5.

Wyoming losing to CSU spooked me out of making any more cfb bets this weekend. Hit pretty big on a Chelsea/Barcelona parlay however. Picked the Pittsburgh Steel in the survivor pool. Thinking Pennsylvania is so clutch these days.

So just right away, Maryland +27.5 seems crazy high. Idk I took Rutgers to keep it close last week and I’m a little nervous to bet against tOSU again but they just don’t look all that nasty yet and I think good QBs can torch them. I was honestly thinking this line might be more like +18 or so.

Oddsshark has CU winning 19-17

One week is tough for the models to adjust to but SP+ has us ranked very close to Stanford (Stanford +0.7 on a neutral field). I still wouldn't touch this game because Stanford looked okay against Oregon (who we really don't know how good they are) and I still don't have a good handle on CU. Everything I thought going into Saturday was wrong.

VT favored vs Miami?!?!?!

What's that all about?

I just don't think there's a lot of trust in Miami. They had an ok win over Pitt who has no offense, struggled with UVA and trailed NC State for most of that game. And VT is better than all 3 of those teams plus they're playing at home

Tonight: 0-1 Akron +28 (-115) v 0-1 Ohio -28 (-105). Betting this year is kind of comical. How can they be so 'sure', that 1 team pays -105, the other -115? Do they have a Southern Ohio specialist set these lines?

Edit: I took Akron +27 for a whopping $14 profit.

Fading Phil bigly is anybody else betting Masters.
You got me going. Placed 5 - $1.00 quinellas for the 1st round. They are, I think, +3500 for the quinella, for the entire tournament - why the odds so much higher for the 1st round?

Much greater variance for one round vs. four
