Official CU vs Nebraska Game Thread

nope, i dont buy this for yet another season ... if hes as good as some people think he is he transcends those issues more than he does ... heisman level, top 3 pick qbs do that at the college level, they do NOT need the perfect situation where everything falls in place for them.
Yeah Oregon, LSU, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, etc...not stacked at all

You have it completely backwards. The question was whether or not his play calling could overcome the talent deficiency.

CU has a top college quarterback and an excellent set of receivers for their conference. The issues are at the line and tight end. They are relying on simply having better players in skill positions for the offense to work. It is a not a recipe for success against teams who are not leagues below in talent level.

It is the Offensive Coordinators job to cover for and adjust the plays for the OL, period
Motion, chips, creative play calling, move the pocket, stretch with play action, so many options, and I have seen the same play call 90% of the time
Welcome to Shurmur ball.

You guys keep raging about the play calling when the OL can't run block of pass block. WTF do you think the OC should do, run triple option?

Ok, try running a screen with three linebackers flowing to the ball. You'll see negative plays and turnovers.
NDSU had very nice total team inside passes and screens because every single player, including Wide Receivers were part of the design
Our WR's do not get included

There was NO penalty there except the RT holding
