Man, can't even express how happy this makes all Buffs fans who have been here through the lean years... just pure joy, wish I wasn't in the Midwest and was in Boulder but let's celebrate non the less!!! So proud of this team and utterly impressed with the job Coach Mac2 and this staff has done!!

It really looked to me like Jim Leavitt was pissed Mac wouldn't call a timeout to give his defense a break in the 4th quarter on the 4th down play. He wouldn't even hig Mac back after the game.
If I had to guess, I think he really wants the HC job again and isn't looking to stay as a DC forever.

I sat with Witherspoon's sister, who was down from Sacramento. She was loud, she was sweet, and she was pretty. I'm reasonably sure that I love her. I think I love her mom too, though, so it may be inappropriate.

Actually we did get one holding penalty, but Utah declined it since the half-the-distance would have been like 1 yard.

Good news for them that Spoon is good at playing defense.
I completely agree on the timeout for the defense!!! Could have made a big difference... Basic Situational coaching has got to be the offseason training. When to use timeouts, how and when to switch completely to a time wasting running game. These are things that guys like Chev would have never got at Texas Tech. They only want to rack up yards and points rather than wins. Must start understanding when time is more important, either running it out or managing it better. I could see Leavitt getting a job very soon. Hope we can find another stud young DC. Also must start seeing more focused attention on Special Teams. Seems like it sometimes does not even matter to the coaches, despite it costing the Michigan game and almost cost this one.
