*OFFICIAL* Deion Sanders aka Coach Prime is the new CU Football Head Coach thread

That and there are also idots in sports media who can't wrap their heads around anything that's outside the box they believe exists.

Here's one from Wilner expressing his extreme skepticism when Stanford hired Harbaugh. He could almost substitute "Sanders" for "Harbaugh" and reprint the same column. You have to be dumb if you're a racist, but you can also be dumb without being a racist. Some of the criticisms are from the "dumb but not a racist" crowd.

Wilner is an idiot. Comments are great.

Surprised to see racist trolls in the Seattle Times article about Prime. Really almost identical to that Alabama guy. Not just one, but a significant number. Lots of “baboon” and clown references which is quite surprising for this supposedly enlightened area. At minimum they are misinformed about our transfer rules, misinterpreting the rule changes as a lowering of standards and opening the floodgates for criminals, dummies and “mercenaries”. The hypocrisy and self righteousness are classic UW. Where did the QB who’s solely responsible for their success come from again? They have this idea that Prime is a cheater, a villain. Let’s kick these …ers ass.

I love this because nothing motivates great athletes like being disrespected and told they can't accomplish something. To all the haters: please keep bringing it.

P.S. I lived there. It's a very blue collar city (fisheries, canneries, lumber mills, aerospace manufacturing, etc) with the tech giant and hipster culture stacked on top. It's only about half what most people think.

I thought he was a risk, but that's because I didn't know CU all of a sudden had infinite money for his staff and recruiting. I also thought it was impossible he'd be flipping the entire roster in a single off season. Or getting 4 million views for his speech to the team. I thought we were dealing with a human, not a phenomenon.

Edit: he's still a risk. Controversy will happen then doom will follow.
From the accounts I’ve been told, when folks clamored for Prime, Saliman (mostly) told those same folks…

Don’t forget the psychosomatic depression construct that brought us grunge.

Online trolls don't have to be from the home city of the newspaper they are befouling. The racists trawl the internet for stories like this, so they can spew their vomit everywhere.

And Prime can't coach them up. He won in JSU because the level of talent was vastly superior to the competition.

This is going to be a huge crash and burn. Prime is using Colorado as content for his docuseries. He's not going to be a legitimate Head Coach.
The guy ignores the fact that having more talent than the competition is exactly the model Nick Saban follows. That and having many former head coaches and top recruiters on staff. Which Deion Sanders has seen, learned from and is following.

Right?!? Where are ALL these great (white?) coaches winning on pure X's and O's without exceptional talent on the field?
