Official Texas A&M Pregame / Game Thread

And there would be some on here complaining about that had it happened. Maybe-but having both those guys healthy means we're probably not this vanilla offensively.
Pretty sure Lewis was almost knocked out of the game trying to throw out of the pocket, where he is most vulnerable anyway.

So going away from the designed QB runs and zone reads was for lewis' protection, got it. It's always good to move away from what was working.

What did we learn. I’ll keep it positive

1. Landman a got damn animal.
2. Terrance Lang is a beast. Big drop off when he went out. Maybe we win if he stays in
3. Gonzalez a possible day 1/2 draft pick
4. Proud of Nai’m Rodman. Undersized no star has been a solid contributor

I see we’re on to the blaming the fans phase. You’re on a roll.

Is your opinion that this staff, can/is recruiting the type of players to be successful in the Pac12?

I'm willing to give them the opportunity to prove they can-unlike a lot of you who were butthurt about settling after Sark (who got his ass kicked in Fayetteville tonight) turned us down.

Re: Chiv, the blame does NOT fall on him.

This is what happens when you recruit assistants and allow them to have leverage, and then lose a good HC coach at an inopportune time, and you’re forced to scramble to fill the HC spot. Guys end up with jobs that are above their head.

Mel Tucker hasn't proven a ****ing thing as a head coach-but I know how hard you get any time his name comes up, so keep going!

I watched that game, Wisconsin-PSU, and I'm watching Iowa-Iowa State right now (because I'm not worried about Michigan -5.5 at this point), and Iowa and Wisconsin are both significantly better than Northwestern right now IMO. That's going to wind up being a win over a meh conference opponent.
Whatever man. You told me to make my point, and I did on multiple fronts. You’re welcome to disagree, time will tell….I think in favor of my opinion. I still am confused on what offensive thing I said to you that caused you to tell me to **** off multiple times. Apparently the idea of questioning clear weak spots on our team, which caused us to lose to a “top 5” team, that we had on the ropes going in to the 4th quarter is very offensive to you. Have a good night

When did I use the phrase top 5 team to describe them? Find the post.

He beat them last year too when they were ranked in the top 10 and ended up Big 10 West champs. But keep going.

Cool. He also got his ass kicked by Rutgers last year too-and there were at least three games his staff either flat blew (Arizona) or did a ****ty job gameplanning for (Wazzu and UCLA) here in 2019. His overall record as a power 5 coach is 9-12....winning percentage of .450. Scott Frost (who we use as the model of incompetence) is 14/21 at Nebraska-that's a winning percentage of .400. Not much difference there.

Well he’s 2-0 right now, beat 2 ranked teams his first year in East Lansing (something Dorrell hasn’t done in 15 years), and is currently recruiting circles around the CU staff. But, sure I’m just glad we got a staff who knows how to coach ‘em up!!

Who'd they play today again-Youngstown State? You're praising him for that?

Shut the **** up and go back to masturbating to pictures of Tucker in shorts.

I'm conflicted about what to write because I feel proud of this team while also not believing in moral victories.

So I'll put it this way: our defense won this game but not by enough to make up for how badly our offense got crushed.

Going forward, we have a team identity to build upon which I believe can result in overall winning football this season.

Go Buffs!
