I thought it was a good hire at the time? He had been dominating with Clemson. I admittedly dont recall much about OU’s searchVenables was a really lazy hire for Oklahoma.
Considering that their SEC equivalent - Kentucky - made a similar move with Stoops it's not unprecedented to be able to parlay that conference money to keep a coach.Cignetti is 63 years old, I do not see him being the kind of guy that would run around and find another job at this point.
It is worth it to Indiana to pay him $10 Million a year and run with him from now on
Its an investment that you have to make, surprised by his initial contractConsidering that their SEC equivalent - Kentucky - made a similar move with Stoops it's not unprecedented to be able to parlay that conference money to keep a coach.
It's very rare, and he frequently bails out and tries to extend the play. Of course he's checked down more than zero times, but his tendency is to seek the big play much more often than most guys.I’m not sure where the narrative that 2 doesn’t use check downs comes from. He’s hit Welch, Hayden, and Augustave on check downs throughout the year
This is the best hate watch I've had in a long time. There are some very competitive "upset watch" games on right now, but nothing more entertaining to me than what's going on in Bloomington.
