Other Games 10/29 - 11/2 Buffs bye week.

The higher the Big 12 champ game opponent is ranked, the better result it is for us to beat them. If carnage ensues and we have the best record, the Big 12 winner will not necessarily get an automatic bid.
In no world would a 2 loss P4 conference miss an autobid. If we were looking at a 3/4 loss Big 12 champ, then it would be possible for the MWC champ and maybe the winner of Army/Navy (AAC) to get the auto bids ahead of the big 12.

There’s no way Army or Navy should be in the playoffs. We all saw what happens when they face any legit P5 team.
I agree I’m just saying that would be the only way I could see 2 G5 conferences get an autobid over the Big 12. No other G5 conference has a team that could even make an argument with their record.

All the P4 conference champions get auto-bids, and top 4 spots/byes go to top 4 auto bids; which will almost certainly be the P4 champs, unless there's a CCG upset and the non-P4 autobid is higher ranked.
This is not correct. The 5 highest ranked conference champions get an auto bid regardless of the conference. It could be Big 10, SEC, ACC, MWC, and AAC if Big 12 racks up losses.

Not true. 5 highest ranked conference champs get an autobid. There’s no rule that it has to be four P4 and one G6.

Luke McCown may find himself having an opportunity to come back up to P4 for his senior year if he finishes strong at UTSA. Good win today

Clemson down three scores at home to Louisville with 9 minutes left there.

Texas A&M down 10 to South Carolina early 4th.

SMU obliterating Pitt.

Everything we needed to go our way today pretty much has lol.

Add to that Nebraska gagging their best chance at bowl eligibility. I think we should all take a moment and appreciate this.

WTF is Washington’s DC doing? Sitting back like you’re afraid of a dude who’s already thrown 3 picks while USC rips off 12 yards a run is a bold strategy. Dude is clueless.

we win out and kjuco state beats isu, and we are locked in to the championship game.

our ranking is about to go up a few notches.

if we win out and somehow don't make the title game, it will be an interesting cocktail of bitterness we will be drinking.

remember also that all the b12 homer voters are almost certainly going to keep bumping b12 teams up in the rankings. it won't be enough to overcome the sec/big advantages but it could be enough for us, this year.

win.

I've said it over and over again, the SEC is every bit as chaotic as the Big XII this season.
except with a higher average talent level...

we have to win game and more games and then more games. kick the ****ing door down.

Thing that's going to be nuts is that Army/Navy don't play until the week after conference championship games and playoff bids are announced. If Army keeps winning and Boise slips up, Army could get a bid before their season ends.
