In no world would a 2 loss P4 conference miss an autobid. If we were looking at a 3/4 loss Big 12 champ, then it would be possible for the MWC champ and maybe the winner of Army/Navy (AAC) to get the auto bids ahead of the big 12.The higher the Big 12 champ game opponent is ranked, the better result it is for us to beat them. If carnage ensues and we have the best record, the Big 12 winner will not necessarily get an automatic bid.
Chicken Little gonna Chicken LittleISU about to pull this one out. Nebraska got the backup QB magic. KSU leading with the ball. Definitely looking grim for a happy ending here
There’s no way Army or Navy should be in the playoffs. We all saw what happens when they face any legit P5 team.In no world would a 2 loss P4 conference miss an autobid. I agree I’m just saying that would be the only way I could see 2 G5 conferences get an autobid over the Big 12. No other G5 conference has a team that could even make an argument with their record. There’s no way Army or Navy should be in the playoffs. We all saw what happens when they face any legit P5 team.
This is not correct. The 5 highest ranked conference champions get an auto bid regardless of the conference. It could be Big 10, SEC, ACC, MWC, and AAC if Big 12 racks up losses. All the P4 conference champions get auto-bids, and top 4 spots/byes go to top 4 auto bids; which will almost certainly be the P4 champs, unless there's a CCG upset and the non-P4 autobid is higher ranked.
Not true. 5 highest ranked conference champs get an autobid. There’s no rule that it has to be four P4 and one G6.All the P4 conference champions get auto-bids, and top 4 spots/byes go to top 4 auto bids; which will almost certainly be the P4 champs, unless there's a CCG upset and the non-P4 autobid is higher ranked.
Huh, I stand corrected. Thanks. Not true. 5 highest ranked conference champs get an autobid. There’s no rule that it has to be four P4 and one G6.
Luke?Luke McCown may find himself having an opportunity to come back up to P4 for his senior year if he finishes strong at UTSA. Good win today
except with a higher average talent level...I've said it over and over again, the SEC is every bit as chaotic as the Big XII this season.

Those are pretty funny and well produced.SEC Shorts this week looking fairly prescient.
