Colorado State making a nice run in the MWC final. This morning Lunardi said they were out of the tourney if they didn't win the conference title.

If Houston was this cold when we played them we could have won. The thought of Arizona winning this tournament is making me ill.
If they win they're definitely taking a bid from someone. SDSU, Boise. Xavier, Indiana, Texas, etc
On the bright side, if that happens we'll get to celebrate a tournament MOP for Caleb Love.

What's there not to get? They have 5 teams ranked 52 or above in the NET and SDSU has wins over Creighton and Houston. Boise beat Clemson. Sure, chances are none of the MWC teams make the 2nd weekend but they deserve to get into the NCAAT

And St John's whipped Creighton. Rick Pitino (say what you will about the man) might be the best college coach in my lifetime.

Why I have an issue with them as a #1 over an SEC Champ Tennessee. Duke hasn't played anybody since before Christmas, while Tennessee has wins over Florida, Auburn, and Alabama.

Keep saying that while CU sits home.
I think CU does beat them right now, yah they are MW winners, good for them, CU lost to freaking Houston.

Saw a stat about North Carolina yesterday that they were 1-12 against quad 1 teams this year. They did beat UCLA on a neutral court, but you lost all of the others. Yeah they pushed the hell out of Duke in the ACC Final but didn't finish. I think lane violations are kind of a candy ass rule but that was fvcking obvious. That and they beat you three times. Anyway, we'll see how it shakes out but somebody will inevitably get screwed and some undeserving team will get in. Happens every year, I don't see it changing.
Up the road, Medved showed what a coach can do with a team lacking great talent. He'll probably be snatched away by a higher profile school. Meanwhile here in Boulder, our 15th year coach lost 13 games in row, finished last in a 16 team conference, and has a secure job. Our roster is again filled with guys with all kinds of "upside". Again.

The MWC is a mid-major conference in all sports in every way, shape and form. As has been posted, we beat them by 17. The Rams finish DEAD last in the Big 12 this year.
If we played CSU tomorrow on a neutral court, we'd beat them by 8-10pts. There is no question in my mind.
