Other games weekend of 10/18-10/20

Terrible terrible series for Wilkins. Cost the team around a minute plus with those checkdowns inside. Didn't scramble when he should have. Sailed that ball that would have given them first and 10 at the goal. Got lucky to even get close.

True, but it looked like when they lost all that time trying to get lined up, it was Harry who didn't know where he was supposed to be and was in no hurry to get in position.

That DV stuff with Wristen happened 20 years ago. It didn’t even get him fired from his CU job. I honestly don’t think that’s what would keep him from getting a HC job somewhere else.

The cheating scandal and having to give up the championship trophy might though?

I think he is a great coach, would love to see him back at CU in some capacity.

To verify before posting my answer I did a quick search. His name came up on a number of openings and every one of the articles immediately went to the DV even before mentioning his record.

There was also a couple of articles published during his time at UCLA specifically related to his history, each had a pretty critical slant to him.

With the current focus on "#MeToo" and other abuse I can see a lot of schools just not wanting to touch the issue, especially for someone as prominent as a head football coach.

How badly is Bryce Love kicking himself for going back to school this year. That decision will cost him millions.
I'm surprised how bad Stanford has been running the ball. They brought back 4/5 highly ranked offensive lineman, but they've stunk.

He has a **** reputation among the rest of the league, I don't want him anywhere near CU.

I think he would be great at UNC. I don't know that anyone can really win there but Wristen would be the guy if someone can.

UNC though has had more than their share of controversy with the NCAA and some other issues. I doubt they want to put themselves up to the negative attention that Wristen's past would bring.

Also don't think that UNC could offer him enough to get him to leave Pueblo. It is a step up in division but UNC is very short on budget, last I heard they were not even funding the full compliment of scholarships at the FCS level (63.)

In Pueblo he has a full roster (37 schollys) endowed, he gets a solid budget that let's him compete with anyone at the D2 level. The school is very cooperative in terms of admitting transfers so he has had a lot of guy from both Juco's and transfers from D1 programs. He gets bigger crowds that UNC gets and in Pueblo his team is the center of attention.

If he gets an offer from an FBS program I think he would go in an instant but UNC is going to have trouble finding a good coach who wants to go there.

Agree. I would watch for a lower tier Pac 12 or MWC assistant there.

Sheep playing Boise on ESPN, already down 7-0.

Sheep copying us wearing gray pants and white helmets. Looks even worse on that blue field.

CSU going to need to find something resembling a defense or this thing could go to 70 fast.

And Boyzee wearing all Orange...for the lammies?

CSU's pass defense is atrocious.

It would be if they had one.

Would also help if they could protect the passer and if they could cover a punt. Just gave up a TD on the fumble on the punt but they haven't looked good covering punts all game, or in earlier games.

And with the baseball game not close CSU is letting people all over the country see how bad they suck.

That fat special teams guy for CSU is still celebrating bigly when he makes a tackle on a punt, even though CSU is down 21-0 (just like he did when getting blown out by the Buffs).

All 7 remaining CSU fans have got to be shaking their heads. Drive down into the red zone only to throw a pick.

They are just bad.
