I think this is the norm. The visitor gets paid the guarantee regardless of if the game goes or not.

There may be a small part based on visitors tickets but as long as they are available to play they get paid.

They had to spend a couple of nights in Lincoln. They deserve to get paid.

Hawaii's got a schedule that could lead to 8-9 wins, and they're playing like it. They don't play a power 5 opponent, and they avoid Boise. Good for them. I root for any team who can end football season in Fort Collins before the RMS takes place.
