Other games weekend of 9-21/9-23

Of course you do

Arizona is the same team they were coming into the game. Decent on defense, playmakers at RB, and suspect QB play. The game was expected to be close and it was. Why do you think Arizona is going to morph into a much better team in two weeks?

They made a lot of little mistakes that can be cleaned up. They are also really young.

That points to a team which probably will not rise to the occasion in its toughest road game of the year so far. They should put up a decent fight, but it is going to be a long year in Tucson.

Or is Utah more mediocre than expected? Their "signature" win is a 19-13 squeaker against BYU. BYU is 1-3 and lost 27-0 to LSU at home.

Certainly possible.

I was very surprised at how easily UA moved the ball on the Utes after the 1st quarter.

Either way you look at it, Arizona blew it.

Agree with your take.

This was a game that both teams tried to give away with mistakes and lousy decisions.

Looks like some others have also missed a key point you made, this is a conference road game on a short week for Utah. Arizona couldn't ask for a better set of circumstances.

And as far as Arizona getting better in the coming weeks, that hasn't been their history. Much more often they start out looking improved and then drop off.

And the guy in charge is still the same coach who now has a 4-15 conference record in the past two years plus this game. In five full years at Arizona he has had a winning record in conference one time.

No, I'm not worried about them being much better soon.

Prepping food this morning for tailgate this afternoon. Would have college gameday on in the background if it was actually on a college campus.

when an adult male watches children playing in a schoolyard (because he appreciates their joyfulness), he is viewed as a likely pervert. why is it different when you guys not only watch, but fawn over, high school boys?

31 - 28 Buffs

Is this Blackmon kid FSU is playing now a freshman? He sure looks like one.....going to be a 7-8 win year in Tallahassee

Yeah Allen forced the the hell outta that ball. Nevermind it was Mond. My bad wrong team.
