Predictions for RMS

The pot shots at CU are amusing. I'm not sure they completely understand that whatever faults we have, they have them too, even worse.

The jokes about hippies and pot smoking crack me up. FoCo has its own nice reputation for both.
 
As the football landscape changes (FSU/Clemson/miami to big12?) csu becomes more and more irrelevant. The Boise States and TCUs have mostly filled the little engine that could niche, with Nevada and a couple of others in the wings. UCF in the big least will get more pop.

It's funny to see you complain about this considering how pro-weed/420 you are. It's people such as yourself who perpetuate CU's unfortunate stigma as haven for pot-smoking hippie losers.

As with many of your political posts, you speak in rash generalizations as if you are transcribing from a handbook or something. The idea that someone can be a proponent of pot legalization while also being amused/befuddled by CSU fans constantly resorting to using hippie stereotypes is not at all inconsistent, nor does it mean that person is to blame for CU's image. It merely means Dio, a responsible working professional, believes pot should be legal (which is not at all proposterous as you make it sound) and that while CU certainly has a high profile event on 4/20, CSU students also smoke pot, as do many college students across the country. Thus, CSU dropping hippie smack shows a lack of self awareness, an inferiority complex that must latch on to anything at all to "discredit" CU, or both. In essence, your attempt to be an asshole with a lame cheap shot went nowhere.

Precisely. I am a huge supporter of marijuana legalization. I have no problem with the majority of stoners. I have no problem with hippies. My comment was mainly a joke about the hypocrisy of CSU fans. When I was in college, the best weed didn't come from Boulder, it came from Fort Collins. The biggest stoners I knew were CSU students, not CU students. That was all the joke entailed. Thanks to BB for laying it out far more cogently then I ever could.

I was doing my morning viewing of lamnation to start the day off with some humor as usual, and I have to say that I am thinking that the lambs are starting to hate Boise as much or more than CU. I'd never thought I would see this day.

It actually makes perfect sense though. You can hate big brother, because he is big brother and will always be big brother and it is the natural order of things. But along comes the blue headed 2nd step child of some bar chick your 60 year old dad knocked up on a drunken bender, who pretty much lays waste to your view of the natural order of things. This upstart does an upper deck in your bathroom when you invite him to your house for a barbecue and then leaves that same night with your (admittedly ugly) girlfriend.

Pretty funny actually.

Very good, and funny take on the situation.

I look at it as a situation where the sheep are desparate to remain in the game, even if it means getting humiliated on a regular basis at least they can think they are on the fringes of the popular group. Boise isn't the hot girl but CSU spent the whole night working on Boise because they figured that for one they wouldn't get rejected and could stick with Boise and two that as long as they were with Boise the hot and popular girls would at least keep them around.

Lo and behold, after buying lots of drinks and trying to spend the night cuddling up real close, out of the blue Boise left with the weird guy from the east coast without even so much as a thank you or a let's be friends. What is more frustrating for CSU is that this isn't the first time this has happened to them. They took abuse for years from Utah only to have Utah leave them standing an head to the west coast. Then they hooked up with the Christian girl from Texas who doesn't put out but who put a couple of heavy whoopings on them as well. They left with the same weird guy from the east coast but quickly dumped him for the rich guys from Texas and Okie.

Now they are left with only a bunch of really ugly options. They have the Air Force girl who is more interested in spending time with her military buddies, the cowboy from up north who doesn't make any money and a bunch of ugly cheap little girls who will just end up costing money and don't have many friends, much less cute friends.
 
And a forced marriage with an oblivious and disinterested rich local guy that was the result of a shotgun marriage by the folks in Denver.

"deep set of backs?" Besides Nwoke they have a total of 3 carries returning. All while arguing we're breaking in new backs. Better hope Nwoke doesn't get injured
