Texas State Game Week (Official Thread)

Is anyone else worried that both Portland State and Oregon State fans are looking to hire away Mike MacIntyre?
I chose to interpret it as Portland having kickass alumni who support CU. If you want to be all negative, I'll leave you to it.

I like it that people see this as a possible hypothetical.

See, that's what I don't get. If you lose your land, do you have the ability to regain it (and more) if you just happen to have a timely win? Let's say colorado disappears but then wins the pac championship over UW who has conquered much of the west coast, does that automatically transfer to Colorado, or is a team that loses their land eliminated?

I didn't know she didn't run at the beginning of 6236
I was sort of surprised when I heard that, too, but then I remembered the game itself. My buddy and I were muttering that it was a bad omen from the stands in the horseshoe right behind the band, but it was quickly forgotten as quickly as we came out in that game:
  • Held NU to 3 and out - including a tackle for a loss on second down of Couch
  • Purify scoring from 39 out on a straight zone blocking scheme up the gut to lead 7-0 with 12:17 to go in the 1st qtr
  • And the route was on!

We had a NU fan that scalped a single ticket sitting next to us. He went from quietly confident to shaking his head in disbelief before the 1st quarter was out.

62-36 was a great day, made a good chunk of change off that game. It was funny because everybody that bet me tried to avoid me all day when we came back to work. Sorry, I found them all lol. They all asked the same question, "how did you know?" I just said it had been building up to that, how I felt about it anyway.

Although I think it's a huge dropoff right now from Irwin to Kaiser (and I'm not convinced that Kaiser is an OT), I do think it's great for the program that he's getting these starts right now. The confidence in this interview is pretty clear. We needed to build OL depth for this season and next and Kaiser is a guy we always hear about as someone who improves every camp, every offseason. It's good that he's gaining experience and trust.

Really need kaiser to take over at LG next year, these reps are invaluable even if he is out of position.

I have no idea what is up with Miller, but the coaches should be thinking about getting Haigler reps at left tackle during the bowl practices.

bowwwll practices. so awesome we can reasonably safely assume that.

Josh is definitely more of a guard. He's one of the guys I've gotten to know real well while I was there. Great guy with a strong work ethic. Let's put it this way, he has always been counted out and not talked about. He's been told that he has been recruited over and he still grinds and brings it every day. Although it wasn't his best game, it was great for him to get out there and finally get some reward for the work he has done to get to this point.

I heard some good things about Middlemiss starting to play well this fall, too. Hope to see him, Miller and Tonz get game reps these next 2 weeks. Pursell, too, if the coaches are thinking he's got a good chance to be our starting C next year.

Don't over think this.

What time do y'all start tailgating and do they sell alcohol inside stadium?
Officially, tailgates can begin 4 hours before game time and no alcohol inside the stadium BUT they have areas you can go, beer gardens, to drink a beer. Just can't take it into the stadium seating area.
