Lake will be sent packin' for the smackin'....Yes. You cannot strike players under any circumstances period. He is gone
Is that the same as cushion for the pushin?Lake will be sent packin' for the smackin'....
I’m hoping the chaos works in our favor in two weeks.Yes. You cannot strike players under any circumstances period. He is gone
Not exactly. Is that the same as cushion for the pushin?
He's gone next year
I know this may be hard to believe, but Martinez is only a Junior. He ain't getting drafted, so TO Adrian will be back for another go!Next season he will blame the young QB for their problem
Haha I sincerely hope he's their QB1 next year, but I could definitely see him being told to hit the portal and Frost trying to bring in someone elseI know this may be hard to believe, but Martinez is only a Junior. He ain't getting drafted, so TO Adrian will be back for another go!
Well, the UW AD is not the master negotiator we have at CU.I can't believe CU is paying their Head Coach more than UW. I also can't believe Karl Dorrell has a bigger contract than Jimmy Lake. ****ing bizzaro world
RG: Hold my beerIt's too late to fire Lake with cause at this point unless he does something else stupid (which is not too hard to imagine). UW already decided the punishment for his actions is a one week suspension. To go back and add on fire with cause would not hold up. They will have to pay to get rid of him. The UW AD not really showing much "academically prowess" there.
I don't know - it really depends on what the internal documentation and communication is. "Suspended for one week while your actions are reviewed" phrasing on the formal notice/letter to Lake would not be at odds with what has been stated publicly (which is, I believe, only that he has been suspended for the ASU game). It's too late to fire Lake with cause at this point unless he does something else stupid (which is not too hard to imagine). The hits keep coming
For once I'm envious of Nebraska. Why can't we do that? Oh that's right, our AD and HC don't care.Basically, their entire offensive coaching staff. Wow
The hits keep coming
Doesn’t mean he won’t blame the young QB for Martinez screwing up.I know this may be hard to believe, but Martinez is only a Junior. He ain't getting drafted, so TO Adrian will be back for another go!

They have to be going hard after a transfer or two because I have it on good authority that the only current QB on the roster (a frosh) is absolute garbage. The kid from Alabama.I know this may be hard to believe, but Martinez is only a Junior. He ain't getting drafted, so TO Adrian will be back for another go!
From Seattle Times: “Given Cohen’s assessment of a one-week suspension and the statement declaring that Cohen, president Cauce and faculty athletics representative Alexes Harris “do not believe that his actions were intentional or deliberate,” it may be unlikely that Cohen and Co. eventually pursue firing Lake with cause.”I don't know - it really depends on what the internal documentation and communication is.
