Travis Hunter Appreciation Thread (Awards: HE12MAN, Walter Camp, Biletnikoff, Bednarik, Lott, Paul Hornung, AP PotY)

I take offense that the voting was “close”.

“Hunter finished with 2,231 points, earning 552 first-place votes. Jeanty was a close second, with 2,017 points and 309 first-place votes”.

Hunter had 243 more first place votes (78% more) than Jeanty — not close — but the total scoring difference is less than that at 214 (10%). Something is wrong with Heisman voting and/or voters. (I know there’s a lot of politics, aka dislike of CP)

Nobody remembers or cares what the voting looked like for a Heisman or HoF induction or anything else after the fact. All that matters is that he won. Celebrate.

It. Doesn’t. Matter.

Travis is a joyful human. We should be, too.

What's funny is the weird Oregon/Boise alliance that has come out of this
Two fan bases that know this is the last year either of them will finish ahead of us at the end of the year.

Oh and despite having our worst 20 year period in history and those two having their best 20 year period:

Oregon/BSU combined National championships: 0
Colorado National championships: 1

Oregon/BSU combined Heismans: 1
Colorado Heismans: 2
