Travis Hunter Appreciation Thread (Awards: HE12MAN, Walter Camp, Biletnikoff, Bednarik, Lott, Paul Hornung, AP PotY)

This is the best night of my life as a sports fan. Above the Braves winning the World Series. Thank you Travis for everything you have done and the Alamo Bowl will be recorded so I can rewatch your last game as a Buff for eternity. What a great night for Travis and for Buffs fans.

That's ****ing incredible. So damn cool. Also apropos that it's the hockey player that they don't have a picture of.

the plays and the importance to the team are amazing. but when he started training at CU and was dancing and joking and smiling and laughing in the middle of HARD fitness days and games... he is joy and love for what he does, not just the ego of game moments but of the process and life he lives. as a 45 year old man, i think about that every day when i am working or training. i am a better athlete because of his joy. bravo travis, it has been a gift and you will be forever a buff. thank you!

I missed the ceremony waiting in line for a $0.69 Pepsi at Costco. So for the others that missed this too...

BTW - the reason we were at Costco. A button had failed on a LG cordless vacuum that I bought three years ago. It still worked. You just needed to know where to hit the button. It took a bit of wizardry. But after hours on the phone with customer service, Rebecca convinced Costco that they should allow us to return the three-year old vacuum.

One of the absolute greatest moments in CU football history! Travis Hunter is a spectacular talent, and one of the greatest players in college football history. He gave a speech straight from his heart, and the comments about his dad were touching.

No one could have honestly believed it would be possible to go from having the worst team in the nation 2 years ago to having a Heisman Trophy winner and winning 9 games. Thank you Coach Prime!

One more thing - Travis ended the Heisman ceremony with "'Sko Buffs, baaaaby" as he imitates wearing the Buffalo horns. I will never forget it, and it will become a recruiting tool for years to come.
I was a little disappointed when I saw he wasn't wearing the colors, but his final salute to Colorado, his teammates, et al, totally made up for.it

Not to be racist, but Mac used to say that when recruiting many black players, winning over their moms was crucial. The epic embrace between CP and TH sent a great message to recruits' parents. It also threw off the TV people, it was way longer than they expected.

I thought TH's most emotional public moment, when he actually choked up, was when he addressed his dad at the end. "I did it for you man".

One of greatest days in CU history!

To quote @RK , I did not know how much this would mean to me until it happened. Just a deep sense of satisfaction
The Avs winning the Cup a few years ago, TCU win in 2023 and Travis winning the Heisman are the three sports moments that have made me truly emotional in my adult life.

More specifically, watching Travis and Prime embrace and almost re-embrace last night is what did it.

Last night meant a lot to us long suffering Buff fans.

NFL Draft is something I'm really looking forward to watching for the first time in years.
