Uniform Prediction Thread - 2017 Game 2 - Texas State (Home)

Probably just a material change as CU is one of the first in line to get the newer materials that Nike has developed.
I think they were the exact same, CU just wore white socks so the contrast made it look different, usually they wear black compression pants and black socks.

Was just looking at tickets for the Washington game and noticed this on the site. Looks like they want people to wear Silver to the next game, White to the UNC game, then black for even sections and silver for odd sections in the Washington game. I would imagine we are wearing silver jerseys now for the Texas State game, based off of this.

Bookstore also just tweeted that fans should should wear silver.

Silver is a silly color to ask fans to wear. Black and white and yellow go ok, big contrast. Silver has too many variations and looks dull on TV. Also, I don't own a silver t-shirt... maybe that's the real reason I don't like it :)

That would probably mean we're going with silver jerseys, but I suppose it could mean silver helmets and silver pants. I'm still not sure about the idea of a Raiders look.

I really don't want to see SSS or SSB, for some reason.

Silver is a tough color to wear. Nobody has silver shirts- probably a lot of people wear gray instead if they get the message.

Maybe if Silver is plan for UW game they are trying to get people started acquiring gray?

I am hoping that we informed TSU to wear dark jerseys, because otherwise it's going to be a mess, I'm afraid.

The first set would be problematic, IMO.

I pulled my Texas State tickets and put them in my clear bag (still very afraid of leaving them at home). I noticed they said "Wear Silver!"

UNC says "Wear White!"

I was referring to the Highlander's tickets. Seems like they put "Wear __________" on each set. Just wondering if they did it for all the games.
It appears they have done it for only the first four. If you go to buy single game tickets, each game has a box with additional info.

TSU is Wear Silver
UNC is Wear White
UW is Stripe
UofA is Family Weekend
Cal is Homecoming
USC is Military Appreciation

UW they are striping the stadium.

Even sections wear black
Odd sections wear silver

USC is not mentioned.

If either of these games are on ESPN or FOX at night, keep it simple and do a blackout. Striping the stadium didn't work that well for Oregon 2015......Not sure if they attempted it at all last year-I didn't renew my season tickets.
